I'm wondering how did adjusting the j pipes change the tone? Shorter = deeper? How much did it change?

J pipes don't change the tone. Adding them to different locations will cancel out certain frequencies heard inside the car

When you moved the j pipes back what difference in the sound did it make? Louder? Deeper? And were they already moved in the cold start at the beginning?

When I adjusted the j pipes, it gave it a deeper sound. The original setup was much louder and everyone liked it but I preferred a deeper tone. Yes, they were adjusted in the cold start and the flybys but not during the revs in the driveway.

The Walker Empire okay thanks, I really like the sound with the J pipes like that. When I get my kit I think I’ll probably just do that right away. Are they easy to adjust?

@@devind3101 Yea i would adjust right out the box. Release 1 bolt for each and that's all. I used a tape measure to ensure I adjusted both sides evenly.

There are j pipes by the exhaust exit that can be adjusted in or out.
