This kind of "messy scene" probably would never happen in one of my games, but I really appreciated the way you rolled it and enjoyed it. It was really fun!

My favorite thing about this is that you're laughing while telling the story, like you're living and discovering it just as much as the viewer is. it's great

To me: If there is no laughter, then there is no role-playing

Really like where this is going! I've played DW once solo using some solo cards that had the GM moves on them. Worked out surprisingly well! Watching this makes me want to do a World Of Dungeons solo game.

Got yourself a subscriber man, always interested in solo stuff. Also Maze Rats looks really interesting for my future rpg’s. Certain classes of buildings is awesome lol

I'm loving this. You make it not so intimidating to try solo rpg's. How do you know which book to grab ideas from when your making your story? You do have multiple with mythic, maze rats, etc.
@wilonascave2 жыл бұрын
Glad you’re liking it! As for supplements and books, I have dozens of them. This is the number one question I always get online or in person of how to know which book to grab for ideas. My first answer is always - Experience. Without having previous experiences with a certain book you’ll never know which book to get for which situation. And my second answer is choose 3 to 5 books before starting a scene. That way you’re not overwhelmed by the other dozens of other books on which one to choose.

Hi, great videos. Do you prefer dungeon world or tiny dungeons when playing with kids?
@wilonascave Жыл бұрын
Glad you like the videos. Btw I have a Advanced Tiny Dungeon play thru with The Witcher on this channel as well. Most of the time I play Solo but when I play with my children I have my favorite systems. I have thought many times over which game system is best with children. So far I have thought of 3 options. Tiny Dungeon is great (also there is Advanced Tiny Dungeon now) due to it being simple for kids, but it is not the best for a narrative story. Dungeon World is amazing due to it being narrative based, so you can create a funny or amazing story for your children. Then there is Mausritter, as for kids playing as a mouse, they love it and the inventory system is (from Into the Odd - Mausritter is an “Oddlike” game system) so much fun and it’s tactile.

I did another video of a book review with a children’s book. It is amazing if used as a RPG supplement. RPG For Kids - Best TTRPG Supplement - Geronimo Stilton kzbin.info/www/bejne/pXm5f2adYt-DjLc
