Every other game you have a teammate that throws. No point in jumping in to PvP for me. It’s just not fun, only frustrating. Even if we manage to get the W with my other teammate it’s just wrong

probably the most miserable i’ve ever been while playing this game were the times i tried going solo flawless. i got it once and never touched solo queue again. honestly it felt more like luck than actual skill and it was so frustrating seeing the matches that could’ve been won had my teammates been just that little bit better or cared a little more.

It is luck, but if you’re good two people can beat three people. You can learn how to play with dead weight. Bait them (the right way by actually pushing with them after they make an insanely brain dead push and at least try to capitalize on it). Or play back with them if they’re absolutely camping. Adapt. Maybe just ignore the bad player and try to team shoot with the other not horrible player on your team. I find it a fun challenge to work around. If you just don’t take it so seriously it’s fun when you get to the lighthouse after wading your way through and learning how to play the map and how to support your team best way possible. Coming from a solo q player, I find playing duos is much more frustrating. Either always getting the worst blueberry, or guaranteed to get a .2 after winning a game or two. “Lobby balancing”

I’ve gotten about 15-20 solo flawless. It’s not fun nor easy most times. I usually have to try my absolute hardest to win every game, on top of that get called a cheated and get reported. Only time I’ve had fun was when I got off work, got drunk and got a solo flawless. Maybe try alcohol? Might make the experience better lol

@@Kvng_Cra are you playing console or pc? I think that’s the biggest disconnect I see with people. Pc players absolutely cannot trust that the ppl they’re playing against are legit. That’s with almost every game on pc tho so good luck just shaking your fist at the moon if that’s the case. And yeah..I typically am lit when I play lmao. That helps calm the nerves for me. Makes it hella fun if I win, shrug it off if I don’t. But regardless win or lose, just take those experiences about map control and maybe what your teammate wasn’t doing or what the opponent was doing or was positioned and learn from the frustration. It’s just a game after all. 42 flawlesses, all solo You rly woulld have fun if you just won and the game was super easy without you trying your hardest? That’s what makes the game fun. @ I play on Xbox. People think I have a Zen…. Which I do but not for D2 of all games lmao. D2 is far too easy for me to feel the need to cheat. Even then I don’t use the Zen for any online games. I’ve been playing D2 since launch. Haven’t played in the last few months but I still feel like I could get on and wreck shit if I wanted. I usually don’t drink but I had a hell of a day that day and decided I was gonna get drunk. Saw it was a gun I wanted that weekend and went to kick ass and take names lmaooo. I don’t really get as mad over the game as some do. Just play each game and get a feel for each opponent then you whoop them so bad they change their loadout a few times during the match lol. I will say Cammy has taught me a lot about the game especially when it comes to map knowledge and how to handle different situations

@ don’t take the drinking too far.. from experience. But yes, the game has such insane amount of aim assist if you know what you’re doing. Positioning and timing matters more. Cammy is a great person to watch to take your decision making to the next level. Zen is wack. Just get gud. Have more patience and don’t force things unless you need to make up for someone throwing so you need to at least make use of their dmg.

Nice win cammy, solid 1v3. My biggest problem is that I tilt way too easily at people just not contributing or trying to win. To the point if there are 2.0+ on the other team id rather just leave than be thrown into a blender. I've 1v3'd stacked teams before to win, less so than losing to them obviously, but I know I'm capable of doing it. That doesn't mean I want to do it regularly, especially with teammates like this who could care less. With matches like this where you're the only good player in the lobby its fine, you can farm KD, but that's not the typical experience. The players with lifetime .5's and lower always cite the reason they are in trials is "for the loot", but that doesn't equate. They don't need trials loot for anything, they likely don't even understand how to make use of the best perks on guns to begin with. They're just there to try to get carried to the lighthouse without putting in any effort, essentially throwing hundreds and hundreds of games each weekend, because they think having a weapon that says (adept) means something. Edit: the panther guy has 0 kills in his last ten of trials. that needs to result in a perma-ban. For a competitive end game mode that should be unacceptable.

I've reported countless people for throwing matches (they even said they are throwing in text chat) and I see them again the next season for them to throw again and be reported again and again. Then there are the hackers, not just obvious wall hacks (prefiring before they know you are there) but more blatant hackers that have infinite supers and flying around. See those same people seasons later still cheating. Some do get banned as bungie sends me the login notification someone I reported has had action takened against them, but I feel its more of the lowkey ones that toggle aimbots when they are losing that get banned not the advance cheaters that fly around...

I've noticed that a lot more people throw in trials these days because most of them are just in there for reputation with saint to focus trials engrams. There's not that much of an incentive for people to want to go flawless or even win because losing gives them the thing they're looking for too. No need to try and win if you're still gonna get your chances at loot after the play session.

I have learnt to accept the less than stellar teammates and playing against overseas people when I play these solo Trials these days as the majority of Aussies players have either quit or given up playing PvP altogether. After dealing with years of frustration with PvP I now just laugh and think well I did everything possible to give myself the best advantage and lock down the win, I gave it my best effort for the team.

Big reason why I quit going for flawless every week and quit trials in general. Aside from the lack of good loot, the matchmaking is so bad that I can predict who is going to be on my team by just looking at light level and active triumph score. I understand having bad days, some days I can’t hit a mountain to save my life, but going out of your way to be a complete detriment to your team just because you want mediocre loot is mind boggling. I hope bungie implements a way to suspend / punish players who are obviously not trying, maybe by looking at bullets fired or damage dealt PS. As much as we all would want to shout very mean words, I would discourage harassment towards others in general. Don’t hate the player that throws, hate the game that rewards them for it
