...Deathless. There were a few times during the run that I was angry at because he took rooms that took months of my childhood and finished them in mere seconds. ...Thank you Dana.

I did own this game as a kid and still have the cartdrige. I´ve tried so many times, but never could beat it. This run is just insane.

Room 43 will always be the BANE of my childhood. And he warped right past it! haha It took me literally 10 hours in total to beat that ridiculous room *without* fireballs (I ran out long ago). This guy makes the game look so easy. Mad props to the runner; this game is FAR from easy.

He is not kidding when he says that ChessNetwork has a really good run on his channel. It is one of my favorite runs of a game ever. It goes into a lot more info about how to get the best ending and it is a really fun watch. I highly recommend it if you like this game.

Thank you KZbin for randomly recommending this to me. A solid run that I would have never checked out otherwise.

Seriously! This game is well designed and a really difficult challenge, but once you've solved it, it's a piece of cake with expected results.

I played this as a kid and it was one that my mom really enjoyed. I just told her about this and how I saw a guy get 2 rooms further than I had ever seen in the game in under 3 minutes.

Classy run. This is a rock hard game and takes no prisoners. This game gave me so much pain & pleasure old the old NES back in the day. :)

Had Solomon’s key as a kid. It was one of the only games that I was unable to complete even though I enjoyed it and played often. In the pre-internet era every 10 year old kid was on his own against games like this. So to see this level of skill is very impressive!

Aw man, this game... one of the first games I played as a kid. For ages I had no idea you could duck and destroy blocks, so it took months to get past the third level. I still remember the intense frustration of being stuck, and the joy of *finally* figuring it out.

There is a lot more to it. This used warps and no secrets so there is 5-10x more content in the game.

30 years later I'm just learning that there are warps. How in the world did I never goto Gamefaqs for this game!? Gah, would've shaved off 15 years.

I only beat this game with game genie and with infinite fireballs and lives. I never knew there was warps. It was a very slow slog leaving the system on for days possibly weeks

I used to have this game on NES. I recently picked up the arcade version on switch and got to level 30 which is as far as I’ve ever made it in 25-30 years. I had no idea there were warps in this game.

Damn. This game reminds me of something i‘ve played when I was little. Pretty sure it was some kind of knock off. It‘s exactly the same game mechanics but there were more gems and more levels (i think). You play as some kind of wizzard with a long white beard. Does anyone know that game?

King Solomon. This game is referencing the actual “Key of Solomon” spell book from the Italian Renaissance. Dana is putting back the 72 bound spirits of King Solomon.
