The Sunrise Express is always a treat. Maybe even more than the udon, sacrilegious as that may sound 🤣 Shout out to the amenity bag, that is an excellent package for top class accommodation. Just having to not fight for a shower card is a relief, but then you also get a towel and bathing supplies too, and it's awesome. Showering on the Express is a vital part of the trip, you can't not do it and get the full experience. Thanks, Solo Solo-san, for the footage of the trip and the tour of Takamatsu. I'd read about Takamatsu Castle when studying Japanese History, but seeing it makes me want to visit and sightsee for myself. (If only, but a man can dream.)

If the Sunrise Express is ever decommissioned, I really hope they launch a viable alternative. Possibly a slightly bigger composition with a better lower class than the current Nobi-Nobi seating. Nobi-Nobi is rough unless you bring your own mattress.

I used the nobi nobi they were the only seats left and they were ok I would have preferred one of the solo rooms.
