That's definitely a luxury overnight bus trip, no wonder you slept soundly most of the way. My favorite part is at the end; I've never seen a photo or video of Dotonburi early in the morning, it's both weird to experience it without crowds and peaceful. Thanks and have further safe travels!

My thoughts as well, lol 🤔😅. My impressions of Japan in 2018 was cleanliness, politeness and graciousness from the locals. Food was mostly delicious. Love their rice! However, vegetables and fruits were very expensive! I hope to visit this beautiful country again fairly soon. Maybe even do a 'drive myself around' vacation ;-)).

What had me fixated at 11:20 was the movement of what I am guessing would be bonito flakes reacting to the heat of the food they were sprinkled on top of..were MOVING! I prefer my food to move when I push it around with chop sticks or some other eating tool. Took me four times to stop looking at the dried fish flakes moving, rewind, and re-read the text. Nice smoky accent those flakes, just that they moved on their own was a WHAT! moment. Got it. Moving on. Thanks for sharing the trip.
