How to Fix White Smoke on Diesel Heater Start-Up: Step-by-Step Guide
In this video, I show you how to fix the white smoke issue on your diesel heater during start-up!
💡 Advanced Settings Code
If you missed the code in the video, it’s 1688. Use it to access the advanced settings on your heater.
🔧 Optimal Settings
Pump Frequency: Set it to 1.5Hz.
Fan Speed: Start at 2200 RPM. If you still see white smoke, increase the fan speed slightly to 2250 RPM.
Experiment with these values to find what works best for your setup.
🌙 Night Settings
After the heater starts up, I reduce the settings for a comfortable sleep:
Pump Frequency: Lower to 1.2Hz.
Fan Speed: Drop to 1450 RPM.
If it gets too warm, I crack open the skylight slightly. Just don’t forget to return the settings to 1.5Hz and 2200 RPM before starting the heater again.
