to know your python location ......just type "where python" in your command prompt . It will give out the exact location

after typing pip in terminal nothing is happening as compared to your case where huge text is shown. It is showing error as " Fatal error in launcher: unable to create process using ' C:\......' blal bla the crated path' '.

Restarting PowerShell was my issue, thank you! For anyone encountering this error in the terminal of *VSCode* but you know Python & Pip are in your %PATH%, just close and restart VSCode, simple as that. What a !@#$ing headache. note: the reason why this happened to me - and maybe to you - is because I installed Python while VSCode was open, so PowerShell was also open and couldn't recognize the installation completely.
