you have map scale that is 100m, it means 1cm on scale = 100m on map. by placing protector on map you can easily measure how much centimeters are from point A to C, which comes out to nearly 6.15 cm. we know 1 cm = 100m, 6.15 cm will be 6.15*100 = 615m.
