I was also stuck with this problem, the thing is im using a cheaper capture card. I just plugged my pulse3d directly to my laptop and used its built in mic. So now the headset serves as both input and output.

Hey got an issue no KZbin video is able to help me with anyone able to help? : I have everything set up the right way I have a blue tooth mic connected to the pc but that’s not even the problem when I think everything is running smooth my audio on my ps5 will start to bounce or skip and it will keep doing that until I change anything in the elgato properties and that’s only a temporary I would start to do it again a few seconds later

Installed the capture utility and it doesnt actually open the app up. It just opens up the initial setup page and then nothing to progress to the app. Any ideas?

@@ZacharySaccocci-zn1cz I switched my speaker choice on the computer. I didn't get any sound out because it was on the wrong speakers..... Set your speaker output to standard and see if it works!

Ok I have a PS5, the Elgato Capture Card HD60 X and the Chat Link Pro. I plugged in the capture card and I went into the elgato program and switched the audio to analog audio. I also updated the software to the latest version. When people are talking I can hear them clearly but the game audio/music doesn't come through at all. Maybe sometimes like a sound effect goes through for a second but then it's gone. Please help me out.

@@its_jray just used my elgato chat link pro and plugged it directly into my computer as a "line in" audio. Audio been working fine ever since. But I could never get it to work by plugging in the capture card. Hope this helps!

Do you have any suggestions on making party chat audio sound better when using a chat link pro cable for ps5? I've tried changing many settings, and the people in my party chat still sound like garbage. I want to share my party chat audio in my streams, but sometimes it's incomprehensible. I'm running it through streamlabs. I can't find a solution to this problem.

My elgato 4k capture utility app is up to date but theres no where on there in the settings that I can change the audio. Why would mine be different? I downloaded the correct thing like 3 times now. I have the HD60 S+, I have been struggling with this audio issue for like a year now and I cant seem to find a solution for myself. Ive spent so much money and I cant stream. I have the Astro A50s and I can hear my ps5 audio and PC audio but Slobs will not detect my PS5 audio at all

I can hear everything but my issue is that I'm hearing my ps5 audio through my capture card and desktop audio at the same time which is causing an echo on my streams. How to I keep desktop audio enabled without hearing my ps5 audio through it? And also every time I open up a game application, my stream will go black and then I stop hearing audio. Please help!

(2023) I have a ps5 and I’m trying to use Streamlabs to stream on Facebook. I bought the elgato capture card HD60 X and the elgato chat link pro. Connected all that to a Windows 10 laptop and I’m using some turtle beach 500 headphones. No sound is working, even with this configuration. Can you please send help, I’m loosing my mind. 😫

UPDATE: I DID IT! You have to switch the physical isolator switch to off on the Elgato Chat Link Pro! Works for me now. OLD: I'm guessing you haven't figured it out yet? It's not working for me either. My setup: PS5, HD60X, Pulse 3D Headset, Chat Link Pro and OBS. OBS isn't picking up audio when I'm using the headset, even though I closely followed the video. Super frustrating.

( when i test the microfoon trough the ps5 with mic test) i hear everything correct. When i close the mic test de game audio is good but my voice is gone? How can i fix it

Wouldn’t it be easier to set your headset as monitoring on Streamlabs Desktop so you can even hear your alerts?

@@wogozyt I don't use any separate software for audio, I control it directly in streamlabs. I play on a ps5 and use a capture card with it that goes into my monitor and my pc, and a chat link connected into my controller and into the capture card, and plug my headset into the chat link. I control my alerts directly in streamlabs as well. When adding a source in streamlabs I chose "Alert box" and in there I put in the images for my alerts. When I have my headset plugged into my pc I can hear my alerts and any other sound (from youtube, spotify etc), but if I do that then my game audio doesn't show up in streamlabs and viewers won't be able to hear it. And when I have chat link plugged into the capture card, I can't hear alerts. I don't know how to make it so that I both can hear alerts and viewers can hear my in-game audio. :(

I have a ps5 and i have the elgato 60splus capture card and i have streamlabs on my pc and i have a usb mic goin to my pc and i got settings done to where i can have my steel series artic 7 on my head and i can hear my game audio and alerts like jumpscare in my headset and i start a game and i got my brother in my lobby and everything was goin good but there is one problem ok he can hear me good and all streamlabs is working alerts and cheer alerts coming through my headset and my brother can hear me in his headset but i couldnt hear him talking come to find out his chat to me was coming through my controller ..... soooooo he brought his splitter cable in to my setup and now i have my headset type c plugged into my pc to get sound alerts and he could hear me that way no cable on my headset but if i connect the splitter to my capture card and hardwire my headset i can hear game and talk to ps5 chat lobby buuut i cant hear sound alerts from my chat so can you plz help me ???? What im trying to do is have a headset on and use my pc mic and be able to hear sound alerts through my headset and hear game and chat to my mates in lobby using my ps5 thanks

Thanks i jus want to be able to hear my like clapping and jumpscare in my headset while im playing a game and talking to warzone buddies i mean thats the whole point of having sound alerts cause if i have my headset on i cant hear any alerts on screen when my viewers play them so i can react to them if that makes sense but thats fine bud jus get back with me thanks 😊

Do you actually need to have that Elgato device just to hear PlayStation and mic audio in streams if you're using OBS?

You need some kind of capture device. Doesn't have to be Elgato but you need something that will capture the video/audio. OBS just allows you to broadcast the video and audio to the internet. Good luck!!

I’ve been using this method and it does work. I can hear my gameplay audio and my viewers does as well, but the audio is not clean and is somewhat choppy. Any advice/help?

It might be worth looking into the Bit Rate settings as if its too low this can affect audio quality! Good luck!
