SOLVING THE UFO PUZZLE!

Beautiful puzzle and great solution video. I agree UFO in not level 4. It is definitely level 6. I would say it is 5th hardest Hanayama puzzle.

@@Puzzleguy Yeah, when I was watching this video back yesterday I disagreed with myself. I think the Quartet is harder. I'll probably move it down to 4th place.

​@@RossDM You told it yourself, Quartet is difficult to solve both ways. UFO is difficult to disassemble and very easy to assemble. Also Quartet and Equa are harder for me since i hate to solve puzzles where you have to be so precise in each move.

I have a faulty one that works only if you force it and actually the first piece to come out wasn’t lined up with the seams. I have to partially open the ball pieces like you do when your trying to look in side and that’s when it partially falls out.

Ross, you won’t believe what a friend of mine did. He actually pulled it apart. Brute force. Every time I try it gets stuck. But in a certain constellation you can pull the ufo a little bit apart. Then you wiggle it WITH FORCE and it falls apart. I can’t do it - my buddy did. I watched him. And I even praised Golfprofi finding the solution. Now I watch this video and I’m confused as hell haha. No force needed?? Ok then :D

@@RossDM based on watching your video, Im pretty certain I know which piece is the first one to take out. It just won't drop out. I can sperate the pieces enough to see which is which. The number one piece is across from the number 3 piece.

I agree. I changed my mind after filming this and put the Quartet back in 3rd place and the UFO in 4th. They're both still in those spots too, 20+ more puzzles later...
