Thank you for these videos, Zuzka. You inspired me to get in shape around 2008/2009 and in 2010 I became a personal trainer because of you! You have been a huge influence on my life and health. I wish I could see you and give you a big hug! Much peace & love, Katie

Thank you! My husband and I are big fans. Him especially, LOL! That said, we both suffer from somewhat chronic pelvic and lower back pain issues from years of outdoor athletic pursuits. I have seen the exercises in your other video and was so happy to be reminded of them along with this exercise. Already feeling better, but will try to remember to do them all on a daily basis for the next several weeks. Again, thank you so much. You are truly a remarkable human being!

Excellent for me. I have spinal stenosis from skull to tailbone. Immobilization from my favorite gym exercises has partially occurred. It never occurred to me that dissipating tension was as important as muscular stimulation. I do in fact get emotional at the release of soooo much tension. My mind overthinks things and produces high levels of tension. Thank you.

Thank you very much for the Video 😊 But I have an important question: Do you gently push the "not raising leg" into the ground? I ask because this exercise feels completely different if I do so and due to several surgeries I sometimes can't tell how a body normally should work. Would be great to know. Thank you ;)

Well I don't even have to do the exercise to know that if I were doing hip flexes, it would start off tight and I would feel it release in the end. My ex once told me that it wasn't a good thing if I released too early, so I avoided it. But I am a big fan of any activity that involves you lying on your back, and hip flexing! So just a quick summary of your video, 1. Lie on your back. 2. Lift your legs. 3. Feel the tightness. 4. Relax it. 5. Sweet release. 6. Tension gone. I don't think I could have said it better, let's do it! Maybe a video where you show how to stretch out your inner thighs, glutes, and hamstring all at the same time? Any way I can help you with that video is just fun for me! If you don't like that idea I guess I will just toss it.

Yes! Part of the somatic experience is bringing yourself to the point of trembling and holding it. Releasing it is what releases the overall tension in your body and lifts your mood

Do some research on somatic therapy and you will better understand the value of this. Although I agree, I was surprised she didn't mending it since it's a core component of somatic exercises

@@fauvecorrigan1233 I'm a psychologist and very much into researching many different methods when approaching trauma release in the body, and I have used several methods myself so I know what I'm saying, there's no real preparation of the body here. I personally got pains after this video for several days, when one suggests a method some more care should be appropriate.
