The dev notes used the term "complete rework" for both the druid and monk trees, and "complete reshuffle" for the warrior general tree. At least they were honest Dan is also a world first raider in method, as far as pve goes he knows a lot. He doesn't pvp though.

​@@apointtomake1517Rage right now in Dragonflight is a pretty cosmetic resource for Arms, you hit rage cap pretty often because your spenders either have cd and can't keep up on spending with the aggressive rage generation or spenders with no Cooldown like slam are pretty weak and worthless to press(also the fact that overpower as a free button outperforms spenders with a high diff), also keep in mind that you are pretty much capped on rage during cd window as Arms, so that's why we were asking for rage generation to be nerfed(all of the reasons I mentioned above)

9:54 Holy shit... If you take In For The Kill with both Spiteful Serenity and Blunt Instruments, you can get a 23 second duration 10% Haste buff, or 20% during the execution phase... That's really powerful! Perhaps during the first 2 seasons, whilst your base stats are lower (11.0, 11.1) you would take Spiteful Serenity, then during 11.2+, Anger Management would be taken...

Bring back BC theory crafting on stats for gear to progress. Integrate item stat stacking to utilize talents and vice versa. You can spec differently based on the gear you have currently and slowly grow/change how you spec.

The removal of Furious Blows is also going also affect rage generation, less rage gen over duration via auto attacks. Looks like with the change to ravager is going to potentially force players away from Bladestorm to answer everyone else complaining about Arms CC immunity. I apologize, I have been waiting expansions for them to completely remove Slam from the game. IMO Slam is useless for all specs. I have been a Warrior main for over 2 decades and decided, when they announced/released "Hero Talents", to bench my Warrior becoming my 4th primary character. The only reason it is even on my top 5 is because it was my main for so long.

Even tho he was talking about the PvE PoV, each hero spec showcase was deep in, and we got to see how each one performed on the target dummies on a 1-2 round rotation and saw the talent changes. I think I like Slayer and Mountain Thain for sure when it comes to PvP (For my Fury war). Gonna be nice to try when it gets tuned up a bit in beta or PTR. Right now, looks like fury's gonna be the go-to atm. I'm hyped! Waiting to see the Mage one too.

Struggling for resources and basically have downtime is an instant turnoff for me. Even energy specs should not be subjected to excessive amounts of downtime. It's just totally unfun. The arms warrior changes were awful, i only liked the ravager/bladestorm choice node as a mostly pve player. For fury, somewhat neutral. I honestly do not understand people who seriously think that having lower resource generation is fun. If i generate too much, give me ways to spend it. Do not reduce the amount i make. Well at least it's not as bad as the balance druid changes. But seriously, these changes are bad. Like really bad. Oh by the way, i don't know if you overlook this, but the 30% proc on whirl, came at the expense of big whirlwind on a cd+big damage and high rage cost. This means: Less cdr from anger management, and weird interactions between whirl, cleave and overpower. This is such an awful change that i cannot put it into words. Wtf am i supposed to do with whirlwind when i already have overpower with dread, cleave and thunderclap??

Not gonna lie, Annihilator was the only way I played fury regardless of tuning. Maybe unpopular opinion but was the only way I enjoyed fury at the moment. Been a warrior main since I began in Cata so I will survive but it will be missed for me at least

I main annihilator as well. It really simplifies the rotation and allows for decent cleave since your not spamming raging blow consuming the stacks of whirlwind. I hope they revise and bring it back. They need to realize their pursuit of build diversity is accomplishing the opposite. Fury has two playstyles. Annihilator or raging blow and I think it should stay that way

That "Ravager eugh" xD I felt that, as PvE player I also dont like the idea of warriors maybe using Ravager in PvE. I really really dislike the cleave change, I wouldve liked if the 3 seconds cd reduce to be baseline so it can be the maindmg in M+. Also Arms Rage in PvE felt really fine too. Its just that OP was way to strong and was basically always ready so we wouldnt need to press anything that spends our rage, in execute rn im still getting ragestarved with around 6.3k haste and 5k crit I dont want to imagine how starved we will be with these changes especially BS gaining no rage has to be a joke^^. OP was also just our main dmg in AOE, it does the most dmg in a M+ (it might not look like that in details but keep in mind that OP and the AOE are 2 seperate dmgbars in details) and is pretty much the priority nr.1. I also dont like that we use thunderclap at all. Even less hyped about Fury maybe getting it aswell. As for Fury, Season 3 playstyle was really great, sad it goes. What I really disliked about the Season 3 Build was, that it was no choice, and thats what i didnt like about this season talents all together. They just buffed talents we wouldnt play so much that they were the only viable thing. They should buff a bit of the whole kit and scale the talents so that each has its niche. I also dont like BS and Ravager coming to Fury. Its a arms ability in my eyes and It will probably completely outperform OF in AOE. Yeah and hero talents.... Yeah sounds cool somehow, but i still hope they scrap the idea^^ Its just that i think it doesnt fit at all because it merges all the specs together even more, I already didnt like that all specs have every other specs abilities too.

If you are using pain sup, you really do not have a too much rage problem. Blizzard has been over engineering warriors over rage generation for way too long. Baj is right no dps has to miss gcds cause of mana issues anymore its okay for warrior to join the 2020s.

My opinion on Rage - if you never press your builders you should have a problem. If you actually do your rotation I should NEVER have a rage starved downtime. If that means I massively overcap rage sometimes that is NOT a problem.

The comment about cleave replacing mortal strike would only be when cleave is talented. Mortal strike wouldn't be replaced entirely.

I dont get it. I really dont. They tried this garbage before and it ended by Fury getting nerfed into the ground and Arms going through the ceiling. After all the nerfs, and after going into Shadowlands, warriors just felt neutered. It may not be as bad with Specializations. I just hope we aren't gonna be forced back into a Mortal Strike, Overpower, Execute rotation. 3 button rotations are bad for warriors because it makes our utility almost even more worthless. So many talents are gonna be sidelined in favor of raw damage because of less rage to generated and spent. When mana becomes an issue for casters then maybe, but until then, its all garbage. Warriors looked so good and now they look like just a training dummy with legs.
