Looking forward to seeing the new puppy! How exciting! But, I definitely don't want to think about not having Rosie forever. Love Rosie! It is great that you have had so many good days in a row. Certainly with you on the need to use up the food I've already purchased. And, like you, a fair amount is stuff I didn't actually like and, honestly, I'm not going to use...so I should just get rid of it. Rosie and Bailey are ready and willing assistants to you in using up the food you aren't going to eat, LOL! Yes, keep it real. Or, in the words of our former First Lady, you do you! :)

I've been making pretty good progress using up stuff (eps. from the freezer) and yes, the pups are most definitely happy to help out with anything we don't like :-).

I know how much you love tea... so asking if you could do like a tea pantry tour? I've recently become obsessed with tea and would love to see what kinds you have, how you store it and the things you to use make tea.

Oh Libby...I remember those days. A cleaning machine hubby used to call me. Not any longer as my movements resemble a snails pace these days. And my joints protest as well. They actually scream on occasion. I still do it all but it takes me much longer. Hubby and I worked outside all of Mother's Day. It was so freaking hot & muggy still it but now with muggy rain. I'm longing for your cold weather. Yes! We can relate so keep it real. It's nice to be able to say, Hey! I don't feel well today and have someone understand. I love the "Some days it doesn't work out" and I say, I've felt better and I've felt worse. Such is life.

I used to buy in bulk. Not anymore. I’m working on getting my pantry small and we’ve save so much money because of it. Much less waste! I challenge you to have just food in your kitchen pantry and no longer use the spa room pantry!!! I’ve learnt to shop my kitchen before going to the grocery store!!

With having fibro and never knowing how I'm going to feel having a stockpile pantry really works for us.I do want it streamlined to just the foods we use on a regular basis (easier said than done when I live with Kevin) and I've been making good progress with this.

cant wait to see a puppy! can I ask are assistance dogs expensive or do you purchase the puppy and get guided training?

There is a huge waiting list for assistance dogs so it's easiest to get a puppy and train it yourself (with the help of a trainer). But of course it's quite expensive - mainly to buy the dog :-).

Hi Libby, can I ask what’s changed as I notice lately you have been referring to Athena as ‘she’ and not ‘them’ ? I hope I’m not being offensive asking but just wondered lately

Nothing has changed - I've just gotten bad about using the correct pronoun most of the time and Athena isn't as upset now if we use the wrong one (they used to always correct me). They are still genderqueer/agender and have they/them/their pronouns :-). Thanks for asking.
