Hi Tim! I've no tilled beans into wheat successfully since 2019. It's worked great terminating 10 to 14 days before planting and leaving the wheat standing for weed supression. You'd be surprised the difference a little shade and cooler soil temps makes. By the time for bean harvest, there's hardly any wheat still tall enough to get through the combine and due to termination there's next to nothing in the seed head. This also leaves you the chance to rotate a portion into harvest wheat so you can have wheat for market or re sew. Also, the harvest wheat gets you straw for livestock or upping your OM.

IF you can find an old heavy framed disk ,you can remove disk gangs and put roller that you weld up and have on cheaper than buying one..just a thought.
