I built this case with a 5900x and a 3080 ftw3 and a 240 aio. I set my fans to intake on the bottom fan to cool the mobo and exhaust on the top fan to pull excess heat. I have incredible thermals running the 5900x on 4.6 all core. I highly recommend this fan configuration over both of the ones Roman used. I tested both of the other ways first and didn't like the tradeoffs in either scenario.

Hey Roman, thanks for the video. Just an FYI one year later. Amazon is currently selling the PSU version of the Revolt 3 for $130. Obviously, I bought one and I'm building a new machine for my wife. Nowhere near the monster you built, just a 12400 on a Prime motherboard with 16gb of memory and a 3080XC from the EVGA fire sale. If anyone reads this and is interested there are I7 12700F CPUs going for $190.

I've been looking into SSF cases to build an HTPC and maybe some couch gaming with the spare parts I have lying around from the incremental upgrades I've made over the years, so this content comes in with perfect timing.

this is me right now. just upgraded my main PC so I have a 2080 Ti lying around. replaced my previous htpc with a i3 10100 and GT 1030 (moved it to another bedroom) now It's a i5 12400 and RTX 2080 Ti. not bad for a small PC. case is coming tomorrow can't wait!

You should test to take out the front internal mesh filter, only 2 screws to remove it, and your GPU would be cooler.

Thank you for such an informative video! Do you think the hdd bay could be used as psu cable management? And maybe with the two 80mm fans added to the top of the gpu the concern with intake drawing in the exhaust can be minimized?

@PitboyHarmony13 жыл бұрын
If you pulled out the inner dust filter from the front panel, you will notice a couple degrees improvement on the GPU, due to less restricted input flow, as well as that hot air strip coming out of the front panel will be slightly better as an exhaust, as the less restricted hot exhaust will less likely be caught back into the GPU intake. That inner dust panel comes out easily with a couple screws. Same as the inner filter of the side panel, but not as easy to remove. That will definitely improve your CPU temps a few degrees, with just that bit of increased airflow. With that ridiculously outclassed GPU in that tiny box, every tweak to help temps ... will benefit. You're right tho, that HDD cage needs to be modular, or just put in mount points on the top of the PSU for 3.5 and 2.5 and just do away with the cage altogether.

Not great size to performance optimization. There are smaller cases that can use a 280mm AIO and over 2 slot gpus while running cooler.

Little Legos of 'Wreck-it-Ralph' or the kaiju monsters from 'Rampage', or an Ant Man statuette, would make for a cute case mod. It looks like a building that the characters would smash around - and also a good size & proportions (IMO) for a case.

@clintcolombin3 жыл бұрын
a custom loop might work better, with soft tubing in the right areas.
@christoffkruger3 жыл бұрын
I would love to see a test on this case, where the radiator is again in intake mode - but you block the frotn panel's three 'exhaust' columns to ensure the GPU doesnt pull hot air in. (My thinkign being, the rad intake causes a postive rpesuure in the case MORE than when it was in exhaust - therefore mroe hot air coming out and being recycled by the GPU)

Can you make a $4000 build with the best price-performance parts possible and if possible also add cheaper DIY parts, do some extreme overclock, run some benchmarks and break some records on AIR cooling. If you do that I'll buy the build from you. But do it next year lol. Cause I'm waiting for AM5 vs Intel 13th gen reviews and obviously the next gen parts. The actual question is Can you build the best $4k PC, multi core performance oriented but still with a good gpu.

too expensive and too heavy if you are looking for a better alternative go for the NR200 or NR200P if you want windowed side panel. It is cheaper with good build quality, it is also lighter for easier portability, has also dust filter and can support both air cooling and water cooling

I unsubscribed from your German channel and subscribed to this one, but I'm wondering if that's going to be a burden on you algorithm-wise. I'd hate to exacerbate the KZbin algorithm troubles you're trying to escape.
@fredEVOIX3 жыл бұрын
it should work better as youtube likes to only propose your main language channels, I had both because I live in a multi language country (one of them is german) but I highly doubt yt would "push" a pure german video to someone in UK or NA
@CptPatch3 жыл бұрын
@@fredEVOIX The thing is, his German videos were constantly in my recommendations before I unsubscribed from the main channel. KZbin really didn't seem to differentiate between them and thought "he really seems to like this channel, why does he only watch half of the videos?". At the same time, even after setting my 2nd language on my account KZbin still localizes titles to English in the page... but toggling my languages does stop it from localizing the title in the title bar on my browser? This problem goes away if I use a VPN, so clearly country settings are overwriting language preferences... but only for some UI elements? In short, KZbin language preferences are broken.

please stop building SFF with high end cpus and gpus that's dumb why do you think we build double triple radiators custom liquid loops in mid-big towers, for fun ? no when your PC generates an easy 650-850w especially now with 350w+ gpus you need proper airflow and cooling, great review thanks for the intake exhaust tip
