Very cool i did not know about some of those glitches maybe the lag was intentional to synchronize the music

I doubt it was intentional in the "cursed rhythm" room - I played this level on bsnes, and with less lag, the sync is much better.

0:40 Is this some kinda creepypasta? 1:01 Remember that ancient Kumikyoku Nico Nico Douga automatic level? (Heck, when I loaded this hack in Lunar Magic to confirm something, I saw the original Alice Margatroid line art outside the visible area here.) 1:23 Seems like the lag here is partially ZSNES's fault - I just tested this in BSNES, and it lagged a bit, though not as much as in this video (though it might also be my imagination). 1:58 What's with Mario's momentum here? 2:31 And apparently it won't necessarily make the blocks disappear, too. 3:32 And the cursed rhythm is even more cursed thanks to ZSNES. 11:37 Actually, the only custom ASM allowed in this contest was teleport blocks. (1:01) Oh, right! I remember that 11-minute automatic level video from long ago! I had forgotten that it started similarly. (1:58) Oh, I forgot to comment on that in an annotation. I think there are two overlapping moving platforms there, and that magnifies their effect on Mario's movement, as they're both trying to get Mario to move with them as they move. (3:32) Welp. I guess this video didn't show the intended music sync here. (11:37) Oh, huh. I thought I recalled that boost blocks were banned, but I had forgotten the exact details, and didn't think to double-check them here. And, I didn't realize there was a vanilla tile that worked that way. (13:17) 👍

(3:07) Yeah, that's what I figured as well. (4:03) Sure, why not? I did that in my 7th automatic level, which was a ghost house for Halloween. (5:40) But, would Yoshi's presence really stop all three magic spells from spawning, instead of just one? (8:23) I was wondering if someone would notice that. :P (11:37) I would still be able to land on the wall triangle even if it didn't have the assist tile below it. TheGoomba98 pointed out that it's actually vanilla tile B4, which somehow works that way.
