Gordon B. Hinckley was a giant of a man. He was the Lord's humble servant and prophet. He was a patriot. The truths he taught will forever echo in the hearts of the good men who heard him speak. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the Lord's kingdom once again established on the earth. May the rising generation follow President Hinckley's advice and counsel.

The repetition, like an echo, of the words of a prophet, opens and clears my mind, and unleashes a very strong energy inside of me

I met Gordon Hinckley in Korea back in the 70s when I was still a little shell shocked by the new culture -- He was so jovial and positive that it was contagious and he really brought me out of my culture-shock funk. I miss his sense of humor and sure witness.

He was a true prophet of God. His talk left me with a face full of tears. The Holy Spirit has touched the depths of my heart. The Church is 100% true. Jesus Christ is the head of this great church.

Thank to the sacred freedom of religion and personal choice, there are some 8 dislikes to this tender video. Hope the enemies of this church spent some time to listen what seems like a bad thing for them. As far for me, I loved his man, he was a giant man even though he was short. He was my hero. I thank my Heavenly Father and His Beloved Son for sending living prophets and apostles again upon the earth.

The story about the boy who went on clowning through out his life and never learned until it was too late that life is a serious thing, in which serious choices are to be made... Gbh continues to talk and we don't hear about that boy again....that made me very sad because I feel like I am that boy, and I've made too many mistakes and can't fix my life..

I needed this. When he was speaking of his parents I couldn’t help but think of mine...who have both passed on. I’m so grateful for their example in being together through thick and thin, through good times and some very tough times. When my dad passed my mom was heart broken. 5 years later she passed. Now there is no doubt in my mind they are together. Thank you President Hinkley for your thoughts and your wonderful spirit.

"I determined there and there that i would make choices on the basis of their merit and standard and be not pushed around by the decision of those around me That decision has blessed my life many times sometimes in many uncomfortable circumstances It has kept me away from choices that could lead to serios injuries or trouble and at the best it would have cost me my self respect My father had a horse and buggy when I was a boy When he came one night in a shinning brand new model T-ford it was a wonderful machine. It did not have a self starter it had to be cracked From that car i learned the importance of making preparations to save trouble But the most important were the lights If the car was going fast the lights were bright If the car was going slow they were dim If you wanted to see somebody on the street you had to keep the engine at a fats clip It is the same with our life. Enthusiasm and hard work lead to progress. You have to keep on your feet and keep moving if you want to have light in your life I have learned that when people gather and put hard work in there is no end on what they can accomplish I know that the solution to our problems lies in following the simple gospel of Christ amen ."
