A moron put a spiked collar on his dog and brought him into the dog park. The steel spiked can cause serious injury to the other dogs. On top of that the dog was trying to dominate the other dogs.

As a Doberman owner myself the owner is a tool. Spikes don’t make your dog look more intimidating. It’s a dobby 90% of people are terrified of it anyway. Which is sad as my dobby wouldn’t harm a fly.

If it's not applicable to the environment, it doesn't need to be there. We briefly kept a spiked collar on our family dog when I was a child when coyote attacks were on an uptick in the neighborhood, but he was never leashed up on it. The collar never left the yard.

Dog parks suck. I took my pup a few times and stopped because of the chaos and unpredictable dog aggressive behaviors. Plus it stressed dogs out and makes them highly nervous and defensive. Bad stuff. We go off leash in safe areas and play together these days. My boy is happy.

Dogparks are the hell. Uninformed owners bring their nervous dogs in this hell, thinking they must "play". They don't play, even not in this vid or this content. They bully, they fight, the chase each other, the biggest bully the looser, they are afraid, and nobody helps them. Horrible.

@ozzit41942 жыл бұрын
@@Sophiauss well, almost all 'purebreeds' are inbred to some degree, so if its a purebred, yeah its probably inclined to have health issues. Im assuming they're responding to the shape of the dog, though - its not up to show standard. The doberman is a sleek canine that shouldn't have an arched back, but a slightly downward slope starting at the shoulder and ending near the tail base. They stand 'at attention' similar to hounds/with a nearly identical structure to hounds in the European variety. the American variety is a little more straight backed, but not as solid or arched as the doberman in the video, typically. Head also looks off standard but i'd have to put my hands on the animal to confirm that, and the ears are unnecessarily docked - which speaks of the owner seeing the dog as a fashion statement rather than a companion, but that's just the years of breeding and training making me jaded to ear docking.

Corso mixed with rotty. That's a nice mix. 2 great breeds. I think mixed breeds are great because they take the best from each breed, are usually healthier and, in my experience, smarter. It's fun to see mixed breeds. I just love dogs. If only people got a dog because they love dogs and want a loyal friend. The ones who get dogs to show off or have someone to dominate, should be excluded from being allowed to own dogs. A dog is a friend, not a status symbol. Think very hard before getting a dog. Make sure that you can provide for him at least an hour per day of vigorous exercise and another half hour of training. If you are lazy then get a hamster. Most dog breeds need heavy exercise and all need to be treated with respect and consistency. They need rules so they know what they can and can not do. Dogs like to play when they are young and will do things that you don't want. If you don't find consistent ways to communicate with them, they will never become mellow and controlled. Don't be lazy and train your dog as much as he needs. He will be so much happier if he knows right from wrong because he won't be getting Into trouble. Even the best dogs will do bad things if you do not put in the effort to teach them. They don't just figure it out on their own.

There's nothing wrong with mixed breeds but you don't always get the best of both breeds. Sometimes you can get the worst of both breeds, including health concerns. Not trying to be sarcastic. It can go a lot of different ways. Purebred dogs from a reputable breeder are going to give you a more known result. You have an excellent idea of what traits and characteristics your dog will have when you get a purebred dog. People like to crap on pure breeds nowadays but the truth is they are the most reliable dogs for whatever purpose you may have. Fewer people are actually using dogs for their original intent and what they were actually bred for. Most dogs today are simply companion dogs and family pets. In that case the needs of knowing what you can expect from the dog is not as important as when a dog is going to be used for specific purposes, especially working purposes.

I stopped taking my dog to the dog parks a long time ago-too many Irresponsible dog owners. Starting from dogs that have never been trained, owners who never watch their dogs.. the list goes on. I had to kick many dogs that tried to bite me and attack my dog. My dog can easily hurt them, but I wanted to stay civil and stop that. Especially the tiny dog owners... They think it's funny that their 15lbs yelp dog tries to assert their “dominance” on my Doberman. I don't think so.

Yeah I know right, I hate small dogs for just this reason. They tend to be aggressive because their owners baby them and the dog acts like it's the boss. One good bite from a big dog and the little one is dead. And the worst part is that when that happens it's the big dog's fault even though the little rat started it.

I didn't think anyone used spiked collars anymore to make their dogs look tougher. All my life I've mainly seen them on chihuahuas and other little dogs as a gag. Nobody thinks spikes add to toughness...unless you have a chain wallet, I guess. 😂

I know someone who uses a chain wallet. 😂😂😂🙈

@@relakonecorner I saw a guy the other day taking a dump in a public restroom 🚽 who had a chain wallet. The chain was all over the restroom stall floor laying limply next to his bunched up pants and just didn't look cool. Especially when you add the tips of his shoes peeking out from the bunched up pants.

I hope you know spiked collars are to protect the dogs neck if they were to be attacked
@GumbysImperialMedia2 жыл бұрын
They exist to protect dogs from ferocious wolves. Not mild dog park interactions.

@@GumbysImperialMedia u realise a dog getting killed by another dog is 10x if not like 80x more likely than getting killed by a wolf
