Knowing Ismo a little, I am honestly disappointed there were no sausages in the trunk.

He's from LA. People in San Francisco have sausages in the trunk.
@timomastosalo4 жыл бұрын
How do you know? Maybe there was. How long do you think they last in Ismo's hands? :) He opened the trunk, saw the sausages, went quiet for a while, and the sausages were gone. Maybe he was thinking which word tricks he coukd do about the contains of the box, maybe he did a magic trick. - but the sausages disppeared for some reason. Maybe they evaporated when he opened the trunk.
@bobosims18483 жыл бұрын
Of course there were no sausages in the trunk... He's a vegan, who occasionally eats lots of sausages. That's why they're not in the trunk: he's eaten them!

Booting a computer comes from bootstrapping, which comes from the actual boot, pulling yourself up from the bootstraps.

To BOOT a computer is to Start it. Restart of a computer is REBOOT.
@HeadHunterSix2 жыл бұрын
Rebooting means "to boot again", not that we should have to explain that to someone watching a Merriam-Webster video of course. So rebooting is, by definition, booting. Don't take my word for it...

One day, when humans get sick of being separated by a common language, we will invent a new language, and in that language every single word will be unique, and no word will ever have a second meaning. And in this way, we will finally learn to communicate with each other properly. I am absolutely positive this will happen eventually, and there is precedent: King Sejong of Korea invented modern Korean and hangul, all by himself! And he did an amazing job, too!
