Since I was a child....I always wondered how one knows when the 90 degree is reached with one leg in the air. I would not get that right ever. I didn't dance, but in my head I did for a while. And it just...do you look in the mirror for so long in the training until it's muscle memory? Cos I would screw that up all the time when we did the beam in school's sport. I still nailed it. First time I ever got an A and not just a B in sports. But I have NO 🩰 ballet figure. Once I train, I gain muscle like a bodybuilder. So I don't have a climbers figure either, but climbing is so cool...makes me so free. Well..anyways. I love those poses when one leg goes up❤

You ought to try rock climbing. You would be exceptionally good at it. A lot of the positions you use dancing have analogs in rock climbing. The best climbers have the kind of grace and balance that you show dancing. Go to a local climbing gym. You will blow away everyone there. Plus, it will strengthen your dancing also. In the same way rock climbers should dance also. It is an angle that dance studios miss when trying to recruit more male dancers. The strengths and balance necessary are so similar.

Please don’t let the photographer divert your attention. She wants the shot of course, but don’t let it be at your expense. You have the ability to beat the Russian, Serbian, Ballerinas. Go further than this….you can do more and I look forward to seeing you in the European contests!!!!!
