The LUX grip socks review is finally here, after extensive testing and generally boggling my brain I have finally made a decision on if I like these socks or not. This was such a tough decision in actual fact that I had to rope in the help of some other people to test out these grip socks, which I will admit, basically didn't help at all and just confirmed the decisive nature of the socks.
However, outside of this one element that doesn't quite sit with me, these might be some of the best grip socks that you can buy, certainly if you are talking about value for money, they are very high quality, come with a lifetime guarantee and certainly tick the boxes when it comes to the level of grip, the length of the sock and generally the fit as well, all for a pretty impressive price.

These are my go to grip socks! I’ve been wearing this brand for over a year now and have done play test reviews on them and they never get old. I never play a match without them. I actually love the grips on the inside. They don’t bother me personally. Great review and video!

Blistering is a big problem when I use my Nike Mercurial Vapor 14 Elite for an extended amount of time per wear would these socks help the blistering?

Great review!! Been waiting for this for a long time, found these a few years ago and they’ve changed their material since then and stood on their lifetime guarantee 3 years later! By best advice if you have the same issue for anyone, touch of Talc Powder in the sock helps take that moisture out and feel a hell of a lot better especially during those summer months! Definitely best value by a mile!

Hopefully this will help you decide between Lux v1 and V2... Both great. So I was using V2 exclusively for a couple months. Bought V1 to try... snd I admit, I find V1 the better sock. V1 is softer and thicker as discussed, but best of all, the rubber layout feels less prickly on V1 and less aggressive feeling than that of V2. I had to take my boots off and realign the base of the V2 several times for comfort and positioning on the forefoot. V1 just slips on and is fine first time. I should add, V1 builds up more heat in the foot and I could feel sweat build up pretty early. Once you're playing tho, it's not an issue Both are great tho and do what they're meant to. V2 feels the more premium material tho and does look more aesthetically pleasing if that's important to you... It MAY also last longer, tho I'm guessing at this point. My recommendation... V1 for the win.

alot of reviews say the Lux run small. Im a US mens size 12 slightly wide foot as well. would the lux even fit me ? They seem to be one size fits all only . Also i bought Pure sleeves and theyre cut off circulation tight on me and im a tall skinny dude with muscular but not massive calves. anyone else have that issue with those ?

James, mate you scored a banger on this video. Absolutely agree with you on everything you said. Spuriously I would have said it live as well. I got those last year as a compare to Fox brand off Amazon ( just like Ali with no grip inside) know with that said they are soft still. Grips still on , shrinks to form on foot. The internal grip on the lux socks gave me awful blister on bottom of my foot, when it got hot later in the game, don’t even get blisters there with normal socks, got a pair of gain the edge to try, hopefully no internal grip will be better for my feet

Had 6 pairs of Grip socks and the front foot has had holes in after one game in 3 pairs. Good lifetime warranty as they are exchanged but still not good that they only last one game 😕

I have multiple pairs of the Lux socks and honestly they’re really good for their price. Only down fall, for some odd reason after many hand washes it loses it’s grip from the inside. If your feet get sweaty, then the sock won’t be too grippy in the internal.

my problem was that the gel in the inside starts to feel slippery when your feet starts to sweat and i don't like it so i change to tru sox and its good cause when your feet starts to sweat it gets really grippy but lux socks are very good as well it just feels a bit slippery in the inside when u start to sweat 🤷‍♂️

Need that anatomical shape! Also not a fan of one size fits all... price is good. Warmer socks are a nightmare here though. Hahah. Also appreciate the shout out! Definitely don't like overly grippy socks and they look too grippy on the inside!

The inside is overkill for me for sure. And the anatomical shape and one size fits all are an issue with almost every sock at this price point which is a shame. There's a lot of good here but not enough to make me go with them on match day.

I agree they should decrease the amount thickness of the grip I notice it way too much and I have tried truesox. They have a good amount of grip maybe they need a bit more grip but they are more comfortable. The thickness of the lux grip socks and how hard it is to put on and they can also improve the sizing and if nit pick the material could be more premium

Both unbelievable socks to be honest, 2 of the best on the market, my personal favourite is the liteguard but the falke will do an excellent job, they're hard to separate

I hand wash them in lukewarm water. I machine washed lux V2 and the rubber felt softer after and there was an tiny bit of shrinkage on the bottom. Still worked tho... Repeated machine washing I think MIGHT wear them out quicker.

You appear to have missed the point that most socks of this particular style only climb into the top 3 categories as they don't have the technology or quality to go above that it's not just one issue I don't like. They are good socks within the range of this particular style of socks which are usually within the lower categories.
