The sock should be tight, otherwise it slides and rotates inside the shoe.

Yes agreed and this could be a downside of the generic sizing of TruSox. I am lucky that their 'large' fits me perfect.

Hi, IMO from seeing the marketing (which they are very good with - ecommerce sales marketing) the product looks exactly the same. Pros are very very rarely using GTE they are using GripSox or TapeDesign mostly as these are performance end. Remember product price normally tells you a lot. If it's cheap it's generally for the masses. GTE fair play have the mass market locked down for sure. More colours and designs etc at low prices. It's the same as these mini shinpads now with Joga. I always generally believe in you get what you pay for.

The grips in Trusox are not grippy. GTE socks are grippier but don't have inside grips. Trusox's inside grips and outside grips barely provide any grip at all. IMO, GTE are superior and significantly cheaper. You can get 5 pairs of GTE for one pair of Trusox....

Bro you are not a player I can tell. You have an agenda to GTE. If you wear Trusox in a game you will understand that 1) they are a far better fit and 2) (crucially) as your foot generates more moisture from sweat the inside grips will start to really stick to your foot. It’s a proper system from a brand who specialise in this. They are not GTE who are pure marketing. You have been sold mate if you believe what you’re saying. I am not knocking GTE as each product has to hit different ends of the market but GTE have done well - why? Because they are cheap for Gen Z players who buy through their phones, have great social media presence and are very accessible in all colours. But tell me one pro player you see wearing GTE? You can’t because there aren’t any. This has to be for a reason. Google raheem Sterling socks, Suarez socks, Bale socks - they all wore Trusox throughout their careers. I have no agenda to Trusox I’m just stating facts for people. You got money and want the best grip sox then go Trusox over GTE.

@@WantTheBall If anything I'd assume you're being paid by Trusox to promote their obnoxiously expensive product. I'd ask you to post a video yourself wearing both Trusox and GTE socks and demonstrate grip on a wood floor to show us the truth. I stand by my statement- GTE's grip is superior and is also significantly cheaper. Trusox for the cost are a total ripoff. Pro's are typically paid endorsement money to wear the equipment they wear in matches. If anyone has the money they can purchase both and check to confirm which sock has better grip and which one offers the best value for their money. Also I find it odd someone with no agenda has to mention "I have no agenda"

I have also tried Nike which are slightly cheaper than trusox and they were decent. But still no grips inside 😔 👍

Also, the Tru Sock grip pads peel off pretty quickly after washing them.

I didn't find this to be honest but this could be down to a number of reasons ie how washed them.

If you're using fabric softener or scent pebbles they'll soften the pads and make them peel

Bought 4 Gain the edge grip socks for 25 euro think it's worth trying

I can't argue with the volume you get but for me 1 pair of TruSox are better for performance and comfort and will last. Gain the edge are just too tight and the quality is basic. But I agree if you need many pairs 4 for 25 euros is a good option.

Trusox have become so expensive .... You can talk about the quality, Trusox does not last long There are some socks that are much better than pantyhose Have bought them before for my boys and wasted some money but now it will be NO to Trusox

Hi Brane, thanks for the this but I disagree to be honest. The main reason I did this video is actually to say that TruSox will last a long time because they are far better quality. I can say this from experience of coaching everyday in them. So I'm saying sometimes you can't be put off by price because you will get longevity.

You gotta take good care of trusox, I used a pair for about 3 years. Until they finally started to tear at the seems... Hand wash and air dry is best...
