Futurama is great in its own right, but it's the definition of diminishing returns: the movies and Comedy Central episodes weren't completely up to snuff with the FOX seasons, and the Hulu run so far hasn't convinced me it should've came back after Meanwhile say what you will about later Simpsons, but i feel it'll always have the slight upper hand due to the amount of time it spent being consistently amazing: 8-12 seasons (depending on who you ask) of comedy gold vs. the 4 Futurama has

The gravity of the loss of Phil Hartman hits that much harder when you realize this is but a six minute and change long video. Other best of videos are sometimes thirty minutes long, thus you realize Phil would have had a home for years to come with just his voice alone. The worst tragedies are the preventable ones. I hope he found solace on the other side.
