@HJV24 Simple solution here is the catcher has to be in the catcher’s box and crouched down like normal. Want to pitch around the batter? Do it at your own risk. That’s how the game should be played. The pitcher has to toe the rubber, the catcher has to be in his box and crouched. That’s how it should be.

Here, it looks like the tag attempt didn't really begin until he'd already juked way left to get around him, and it doesn't seem like he strayed three feet from *that* line after the tag attempt began. So the call looks good.

It took an extreme power hitter to hit the single that Miguel Cabrera hit. Almost everyoe else would let that one pass by..Cabrera was one of the few who could hit that one.

It didn't hit in play though. A ball is only considered to no longer be in flight if it hits something other than a fielder.

Of course he was juiced, half the league was juiced, the commissioner's office turned a blind eye because it benefited the popularity of the game, they didn't start actively testing until the Balco scandal.

H. Kims ball hit the wall and rebounded back towards play (even if it was only a few inches) before the LFs glove knocked it over. The two you mention in this video hit only a fielder, never the wall, and the forward momentum of the ball never stopped.
