Watching Pete work in the woods is awesome. I hope he gets better.

Always a pleasure to watch you work, Pete. Folks always get freaked out by Virginia creeper. Don’t know why, really, looks much different than poison ivy. I used to get poison ivy really badly as a kid, but like you I learned what it looks like and haven’t had it in decades.

You're the most knowledgeable timber cutter/chainsaw operator I watch on KZbin. Thanks for the video.

I’ve learned a lot from watching Pete over this past year since I found the channel. Listen to him limb. It’s not zingzing zing zinnnnnng; it’s crack, idle, crack, idle. It’s a pet peeve of mine when guys, even trained loggers, keep revving the trigger between limbs, wasting fuel. I think it makes them feel like their going faster or being more efficient. Cool to see him get into some pine. I’m assuming they’ll go for structural lumber.

@@KevinsDisobedience....I agree, the 'burning of extra fuel' is an ego/macho thing. "Some guys just don't get it!"

Love your channel, Pete. My friend Mark can really cut some trees. He's like a shorter version of you. He's a State Tx employee as was I before I retired. He can really yield a chain saw let alone handle all the thing involved, sharpening, buy chains, rebuilding, etc. He knows how to domino trees...lol Thanks Pete...keep the vids coming my friend.

It’s nice watching you I’m amazed on how much you grew your company.i was running my own logging company with a John Deere 648E hand cutting I had to sell my skidder and stop I didn’t want to but it was stressing my wife out with repairs and fuel bills I wasn’t making enough money

Awesome video Pete👍👍👍. I myself believe the GoPro on your helmet just too show different angles and scenes. And the longer videos will be good for your channel. More work for you I’m sure. But it’s taking it up a notch. Thanks Pete.

We have huge white pine here in Nova Scotia , Canada . Its not worth much for logs but go try and buy lumber and its worth a fortune . You do need to babysit it if its not cut in the winter or it will blue stain .

Not sure if I remember right but I think a Forester told us one time that you could get a rash and itchy from the creeper similar to poison ivy

What will the pine get used for? Apparently you don't develop a resistance to poison ivy. I've never gotten it. It's good to have some latitude with the landowner and forester.
