Best way to boycott, is buy the product alternative !!......example instead of a HP printer......choose another ethical brand , I swapped HP for a Canon printer, it a better printer.

Hey, I dont wanna come off as stupid or anything but why is barely any countries accepting Palestinian refugees??

So they are. But int he west they refuse to give them the expedited refugee they gave Ukrainians because racism. And Arab countries are weary because Israel controls the right to return & Israel makes it almost impossible for Palestinian refugees to return to Israel, because it would mean millions returning, so Arab countries are weary to give asylum/settlement because it means Palestinians wouldn’t be allowed to return home. But the vast majority of palestians refugees are in Arab nations

oh thanks for offering insight and solidaridad for a free Palestine via BDS, Sully-sensei! Could... could moi ask for advice and insight from you about a certain "boycotting tactic" that a few well-intentioned folks are doing, especially in the spaces where moi's in, in Vtuber streaming circles? A few Vtuber fans wanting their oshi 推し (favorite Vtuber) to support Palestine tell their fav Vtuber something like this: "Oh, McDonald's is supporting the g-cide of the Palestinian people, so please don't support them" and then sometimes they present an image of the BDS list. In the months that follow after October 7, reactionary/right0-wing/"centrist"/"apolitical" Vtuber channels would paint these peeps and their tweets in a bad light on KZbin videos. I wonder if you could talk about this more or if you could explore more creative, more empowering, "less turnoffish" approaches to inviting streamers to consider knowing more about the suffering the Palestinian peoples, their struggle for liberation, as well as inviting these streamers to go solidaridad! If you have any insights...? Thank you, and lalaya rin ang Palestina! Palestine will be free! 🍉

So really it will depend on the creator. It’s hard to discern which ones you can genuinely convince and which ones, especially right wing, won’t budge. Furthermore, those on the right often try to use Palestine as an excuse to be antisemitic which we don’t want. You could appeal to the more empathetic ones by getting them to see the stories of Palestinians whether it be videos or accounts written by them. To be honest we’re at a point where this deep into the current mass slaughter and if people aren’t interested it’s gonna be hard to convince them

I understand what you said about creators, and yes, it's hopeless to convince right-winger / "centrist" content creators. My question is more about the peeps who express solidarity but end up becoming the butt of ridicule and even look annoying to Vtuber audiences? I wonder if it's not wrong to talk to those trying to convince their favorite content creators and ask that they'd consider to stop asking those creators and perhaps focus their energies on, say, making memes, videos, art that promote Palestine solidarity + raising/giving funds for Palestinian families... instead of wasting time going on Twitter and streams to convince their idols/fav streamers? Thanks again, Sully-sensei! As for me and other peeps in our circle, aside from helping raise funds for PCRF, we've been asking Vtubers and fans to make messages of solidarity for the Palestinian peoples. Moi's also going to go around discord servers and promote the "Arrest Netanyahu" citizens action chuchu in the US! I'll be sure to check in your channel and let other peeps know to connect with ya! Ohhh I get what you mean. Yes I agree with what you are saying. I think although it’s still worth it to talk to creators you love to help use their platform. Using more energy to do some work in your own community using whatever skills you have to raise money or awareness would likely be a better use of time!

In moi experience trying to reach out to diff folks... for smaller indie creators who are open to talking about the stuff that matters (i.e. politics), moi found it easier to invite them to Palestine solidarity and ask them to help! For indie Vtuber creators who see Palestine as a "political" issue (it is, as well as many aspects of our lives under capitalism and systems of domination! It's just that for them, "political" = controversial), they would rather not speak out in solidarity... When moi tried to reach out and ask indie Vtubers creators who have thousands of subscribers about Palestine solidarity, moi gets the ignore-treatment... Thanks again, Sully-sensei, for all your care and solidaridad~~! ^^
