Nnamdi will say anything to talk his way out of the hole where he found himself today. Nigeria has clearly beaten the bravado out of him. He's nothing like the self-styled warlord image he cultivated for himself and worshiped by his gullible followers. Nnamdi clearly no longer believed in himself. Nigeria beat the fight out of him. The wannabe warlord of yesterday now looks like a secondary school rascal caught out and desperately trying to talk his way out of that *koboko punishment* to be administered by the form tutor. I could almost hear the form tutor saying to our little whimpering Kanu, "Now Nnamdi my boy, bend down, stay still, if your hand touches the spot, I will start all over again....."
