Hi i was wondering if you can show how to make a medium size ,hand built pumpkin.Hallow,container with a lid .Im thinking of making one ,but i dont know how to go about it,if i should make one with the pinch pot method or slab over a form method . Hope to hear back 😊 Also love your videos ❤

tami renno generally no if you use a food safe glaze and mid or high fire

Now I’m confused, are you brushing a dipping glaze and then brushing on top a brushing glaze?

All my coyotes are thin enough to dip- and they only need one layer for dipping- but the same ones can be brushed in 3 layers!

Lol- I have never heard of that! Do you mean to dip a shino first? Not with my Coyote glazes!! In fact- some of my favorite combinations are shinos OVER other colors- like shinos over black... they're gorgeous!

Well I’m sort of new and I work in a community studio(which is, understandably, closed) and we fire to cone 10, but I have been warned that if you put Shino over something it will bubble and pit. That is so cool that you can put coyote Shino over other glazes!

How much water we should mix with glaze

Do you mean in order to dip? Well, if you’re thinning a glaze to dip- it will take experimentation to figure that out. It should cover it without cracking when drying. My simple rule of thumb is that the glaze should cover my hand like a latex glove when I dip. This is not true for every glaze however! It will take experiments to get it right for any glaze!
