I know your pain all to well, sexually abused when I was 5 yearsold by a messed up 16 yearold girl, I ask myself to this day, why did it happen to me and my brother and the other children. my brother and I ended up in several foster homes for 4 years, I'm 9 at this point. our mom finally gets full custdy of us granted from Judge. the foster parents, the father was a mourtion and a baptist preacher, the foster mother was so evil she cut the right paw off of a stuffed pound puppy my mom gave me for my birthday. these people were very scary to a 5 yearold, we had to use an elevator to bring the dead bodies into the sancuary. we all had to chop the head off of a chicken, that was terrifing to watch, theirs alot that I left out because writing about what happened to my brother and I, was a very emotional time. another incident happened, the foster parents were already treating us like we were slaves, picking tabaco leaves baking them at the age of 5, on a farm by hand. every poor child in that house was put to strains unthinkable. they told us our mom was a crazy and the judge will never give her anything, our mom was sent by Jesus to take us away from these evil people. when I saw our mom at the foster home I thought I was dreaming, the foster parents never said anything to us. I'm 47 now, I can explain to you that everything is going great but its not, In my mind I'm living everyday with the guilt of why did my brother and I have to go threw such a devastating ordeal. at the age of 10 and my brother 12 we were diagnosed with, ptsd, sexually abuse, ocd, agoraphobia fear of large crowds, bipolar 1, severe anxiety disorder and depression. I'm on 13 different medication for my condition/ my brother is also on meds. I've been married for 24 year's and my wife takes care of me, sometimes we all need help, I find myself wondering off in my mind, my wife touches me on my shoulder and that helps me come back from the bad memories. I wanted you to know your not alone and Jesus Christ loves his children and he loves you no matter how many times we mess up. @flash582 I'm saved, I believe that Jesus Christ is the father the son and the holy ghost🙏

It's not exactly comparable to coming out. In many parts of the world, especially the US, christianity is a part of the dominant class. Being in the LGBTQ community historically has been oppressed in ways American Christians simply haven't. That's why "coming out" is such a big deal. It's not just about coming out to the public, but even to one's own family members. I'm glad this guy is standing up for what he believes in, but there was no risk or danger for him to come out as Christian.

Do not compromise. Come out of her and go to Jesus. Go to His Word. He says it plainly in HIs Word. The eyes, the ears are gates to the soul. What we see. What we hear. No sir, you do not compromise. Not just the big bad stuff, but does God hate sexual immorality and sexual perversion from pornography all the way down to a silly little sex sex scene in Reacher? Or does God hate pornography and promote little sex scenes with topless women. Gods word is clear man… God doesn’t care about how bad we need to be entertained at the expense of his daughters bearing their nakedness on tv, he cares about our holiness and our purity. I’d agree but there is no mindset behind reading and just doing what God’s word says. And it say without holiness no one will see the Lord… Jesus even said there will be people who looked and walked and talked like believers who come before Him at the end of days, and He says I will say to them I never knew them. Why because they tried to get to Heaven by works (being good). I suppose the argument against that thought would be, “well by trying to avoid all sexual immorality in movies you’re simply trying to do something to earn your way.” But the answer is no. Not watching sexually imperial stuff isn’t doing something it’s simply not doing something. It seeing sin and staying away from it, it’s called Holiness. Removing things as they are revealed to us that are counter to Gods design and nature. Christianity has in many ways become a legalistic waterdowned religion. But Jesus didn’t come establish religion He came to establish His Kingdom where in those who choose to be with Him live within the confines and design of His creation. Those who choose not to live with Him choose to do what is best in their own eyes. The reality is I was an atheist for years thinking all the things I was doing is what was bringing me true happiness and joy, but it wasn’t until I met Jesus face to face that I gave up everything that didn’t line up with His ways that I finally knew true peace, joy, and happiness. Why because I’m finally living within the framework of His design. Do I still sin and fall short of course, there’s no fixing my fallen nature this side of Heaven, however I do not go on sinning willingly with full knowledge of the sin I commit. When I identify (or someone else points it out in Gods word) something that shows I’m living outside of God’s design change it. Why because if God is perfect and holy and he designed me to live a certain way the I’m going to conform to Him. His word is litmus test for truth in living. Not man’s word or doctrines

I am also a Christian Musician. I play in lots of churches and also lots of concert halls, roadhouses, honky-tonks, and bars. Jesus didn't hang out in the synagogues. He went where the people were that needed to hear The Good News. It has been made abundantly clear to me that I must do what I do. You're not going to win over drunks. Occasionally, there is a wounded soul that comes your way, but I lead other musicians to Christ. By example, by loving them and always being available to share my faith. God bless the work you do.
