Hi Iain. Thanks for sharing these projects with us. I agree with Timothy Buss. I wish there was so much more of your music out there as it is so emotionally and physically engaging, but I understand your desire to study too. Just please never give it up. Stick with the music even if just to feed us the odd bit of musical genius. Take care brother.

It's great to hear from you man! It means the world to read that you have that connection to my music as it is the main reason I write is to elicit such feelings or at least attempt to. Ah don't worry I can't see myself throwing in the towel just get ;) Honestly, thank you so much for such kind and heartfelt words man, it means a lot. Hope you are keeping well my friend!

I empathize, at a time in the mid 80s I gave up on my grand designs in music and took up studies in mechanical engineering. Engineering has payed off quite well. With this decision, I've been able to practice and create music daily, no pressures with it, following my own muse for my own enjoyment. But please do continue to post your musical creations when you can. Your music is way too brilliant to be tucked away from humanity.

For some time you have had me torn. I am so pleased that you will become a doctor. It will provide you with great life stability and because I really care about you, I am pleased. But as a musician, an artist, and a producer, it kind of makes me feel like I am the one locked in the Grand Asylum. You are one of the most amazing musicians I have ever encountered. You did massive multi part compositions that were entirely self-produced and were simply incredible. So I will miss you not going into music full time, but I will manage somehow...

Timothy thank you so much for such a kind and heartfelt comment. That really meant a lot to read. I have to admit that that music dream is still there for me, I don't think it will ever really leave me not matter how far I go down the medicine path. As you mention, stability is the key word. If I could wave a wand and get a job writing or producing music with a major label I'd probably leap at the chance after graduating! But as you know, it's a phenomenally competitive scene and indeed far from secure! I'll definitely keep writing when time permits however - it's in my blood I feel! Again, thank you so much for your kind words Timothy and I hope you are keeping well!

Wow YES become a doctor, there is such low money for musicians struggling. Use that energy to learn medicine. Music stays with you and in you for decades. Learn the crap out of everything you can when your young. It pays great dividends. Then do music. You got it all man.

This is fantastic as ever man. First one almost sounds like a mix between foo fighters and Emerson Lake and Palmer. Keep it up man!

It's great to hear from you Conrad and thank you so much! Glad you liked it! I feel I need to listen to more Foo Fighters actually. I've always enjoyed their singles when I hear them on the radio etc. but I've never gone and listened to their albums and things.. might need to rectify that!

Great stuff. I have been subbed to you for years and some of these I have already heard, from back when you introduced them to KZbin. (I believe)

Thank you so much man! That means a lot. The fact that you're still tuning in despite the lack of activity... as I say, thanks man! Yeah you're spot on, there are familiar moments in here but the majority hasn't seen the light of youtube day until now!

Hello, Iain. Do you still have the drum track for your "Grand Designs' biggest regret"? I should very much like to do a cover of it. It has such an original and fresh feel, absolutely amazing.

Hi Liviu! Thank you so much man! I'm still searching for the original file myself funnily enough haha! I think it's in an old computer at my parents' house. As soon as I find it I will send it your way man!
