I know another why to avoid red lights, just go really fast. It’s similar to Michael’s idea but the goal is to go fast enough so that the next frame where your hit box is loaded is so far from where it was the previous frame so that you skipped the hit box of the red light. Don’t know what speed you need to reach, but it’s probably more energy efficient.
