Tennessee didn’t win that game. Florida lost it. They spanked the Vols in every aspect but unfortunately their coach is an absolute idiot. That game should’ve been over in the first half. The score should’ve been at least 17-0 but could’ve been 24-0. If they go for two at the end of the game and get it that game would’ve been over. Napier is just an incompetent idiot. Enjoy the win. @@ImaITman Stats alone do not tell the story of that game. Florida owned them in the first half and that game should’ve been over at halftime. Every single competent analyst have all said the same thing. Tennessee got lucky that Napier is just a terrible coach. They were in the red zone 4 times in the first half and only got 3 points due to his piss poor judgement. But on the field Floridas players outplayed Tennessee. Period.

Uhm 5 years ago we hadn’t beat Florida 2 times and Alabama once. Are we perfect? No. Coach Heupel has as many wins against ranked schools in 3.5 years than we had the previous 15 combined.

It's not the whole offense. Our QB needs to start leading. And for whatever reason he isn't. And if you say Sampson is leading then you never on the offensive side. Look at Vandy... they have a QB that is not supposed to be that good but he has heart and drive and he leads his team into believeing they can beat anyone.

You know, I have been so critical of this team this year! Yes they haven’t performed up to expectations but we are still 5-1 with a win against the gators and have a good chance to beat Bama at home! The offense is in a funk and Nico hasn’t looked the best at times but he is just a freshman! I truly believe he will get better and not make the stupid mistakes he has made! It was just a few years when we absolutely sucked in the Dooley Jones Pruitt eras! I will gladly take this team over those teams any day! I’m gonna just gonna quit b*tchn and enjoy us being relevant again! Heupel has done some great things and bringing in some great recruits! Just have faith and try to enjoy the ride! GBO 🍊🍊🍊

You said it very simple , right now we are messing up with execution. There is only soo much Heupel can do , we as a team are executing poorly on offense. Make those throws , catch the ball , and block. Minimize the penalties and mental errors than we would have won by atleast two touchdowns. We got this #GBO.

Need to help Nico get comfortable. Roll him out, easy completions, and let him run the ball. WRs make a couple of those catches, how does that help Nico’s confidence to put it on them? It all ties together. Run High-low, rub routes, use TEs on delayed routes. He will be great. We just need to give him time to learn and grow. In the meantime, we need the team to rally together and put their feet on the other team’s throat. I say all this as I work on ACs in Memphis, not getting paid for my unprofessional offensive opinion. Huep makes millions for a reason. He’ll get them there, in better positions. They guys have to execute at the end of the day

Great take! Getting back to fundamentals for all position groups on offense needs to be the primary push for the week. OL holds, most of them, were really nitpicky calls, thebhae hands were too high and too far outside. Fundamentals. WR route running and watching the ball into the hands. Fundamentals. Footwork and progressions for Nico. Fundamentals. Do that, they can get back to form. 2nd half of Florida finally showed some changes. Lets keep it up. GBO!

Just a reminder, the 98 team had to knock away a potential game tying TD against an Auburn team that went 3-8, and was down in the 4th quarter in the SEC championship game to a Mississippi State team that lost 5 games and whose highest ranking all season was 23. This team is definitely not perfect, but the 98 team was not without flaws either. Al Davis said it best, "Just win baby."

But Florida's losses before us came from an undefeated (they lost to VT but meh) and an a&m team that is actually good. Tennessee's loss is to an Arkansas team that is poised to upset giants. Brazzell and Thorton are solid. Nimrod is not a 1. Anytime there’s defenders within 5 yards he’s going to drop it. I have not seen him make a contested catch. I think Matthews can get something done because he will see ball and go get ball At this point in the season I prefer to have offensive issues rather than defensive ones. If its offense the issues (excluding injuries) are usually timing, scheme, chemistry, and penalties. Those things can get fixed in a week or 2. If its defense, then it’s more likely to be a skill, physicality, and conditioning issue. If thats the case your season is done. You don’t just magically improve on the defensive line halfway through the year. Either you have it or you don’t. If we work on timing and execution on offense we will be more than okay. We can beat Bama because their issues are defense. Vandy and at times South Carolina cut through that defense like butter. That defense is cooked. Jalen Milroe will get his plays, limit him and we win this game

Boogie, I think with the NIL money has changed the will to win. Players especially 8 million dollar one's are going to be held to a higher standard by the fan base more than ever. It’s frustrating, but we’re so close to catching that gear, we were about 3 bad plays away from that being an entirely different ballgame on Saturday. We could’ve easily won that game by 3 scores if we just had some consistent OL play. Our penalties & own lack of discipline is costing us dearly. They need more trick plays, screens, draws, end arounds etc. That's when they were moving the ball. and making nico roll out of the pocket to pass. Instead, it's the same old garbage hand-off or pass hand-off or pass. And nico doesn't have time to pass the offense line suck against better teams like teams in the sec. Sometimes, nico needs to keep the ball and run like the run option.

You can tell he’s a dude… he has to force himself to watch what he says. I’m not real big on Coach’s clock management but he knows what he is doing. I couldnt believe he threw the ball in overtime that took some balls but that should keep Nico’s confidence up. It is the line, then Nico, then separation on the receivers. They can do this no doubt in my mind. But I’m still alive cheering for the VOLS. I just need to calm down. 😣 anyway liked talkin vawls GBO. Oh did they lose Pili for the season? What a dude…. Wouldn't make a difference, totally different teams than Golish had. Look at the OL we had those years first couple years. Our OL is doing no one favors, when Nico gets time he's slightly off, but IMHO it starts with the OL blocking consistently, and they arent very consistent. Then you hit a player in the hands and he drops it. Lots of ifs and maybes. but they were close.

Oklahoma gave everyone the game plan: put 6-7 in the box, blitz every down. The O-Line won't stop em and the receivers won't get separation. AND...they have to stop throwing tot he flats...that's where pick-sixes are born.

Hype needs to get these penalties under control and make sure Nico holds on to that ball. He is the worst qb we have had for turnovers and fumbles in a while. Our tackles have to be better at blocking and our WRs have to get open. We can beat Albama and if they start clicking, Georgia doesn't look unbeatable this year.

You would think that Heupel had never played QB. He knows that leadership on offense has to come from the QB position. Nico is lacking a lot of things but maybe the most important thing he is lacking is the ability to lead. I know sampson wants that job but it doesn't work that way. The QB has to take charge. Now we don't run a huddle offense so maybe that is why Nico isn't leading. All I know is if we lose to bama it is season over. The time to address this problem was at the beginning of they year with a 2 QB system that way at this point we'd have at least one QB ready to go. We played some pretty easy teams so rather than let Nico build up his stats we should have been getting QB2 some reps but when the time came they put in QB3 who is a freshman and is in no way ready to play. This clusterFk fall on the shoulders of Heupel. This is the second year where we could be great but he failed to have a QB ready to go.

The offense is that bad, even on the rare occasions when the line protects him, he is still making bad throws, missed 3 wide open deep receivers, didn’t see other open receivers, and let’s don’t forget his fumbles. Don’t sugarcoat it, we keep playing like this and we could easily lose 4 more games…Can you say Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky and Vanderbilt, all of which can fairly easily beat Tennessee. I’m a forever fan, but the truth hurts. Go Vols!

It looks like people are coasting and settling for poor performance. I think Heupel after the Hooker times started believing he is a super genius. A super genius coaches up players and gets them to perform at a level above expectations....not mediocre.
