Thanks for all the beautiful comments. It makes my work all worth it. thank you! here are some answers. I use acrylic nails. i make them myself, because the nail salons cannot make them thin enough to give me a sound that resembles the tone I have worked on all my life. yapckluke...if you mean is there a version with only TAB and no notation under it.. not yet. I am curious how all of you feel about that. do you like having both to look at or is the music notation a distraction. It's much work
@ronaldbarbour64904 жыл бұрын
I do not find the standard musical notation a distraction, but that is just me.

To my good friend Michael. I watched this a month ago when you sent it to me but was not ale to respond. You have my complete honors on this and many of your arrangements. This is the quality a song like this deserves. "Somebody" intrigued me the very first time I heard and saw it. What a great song and I love to watch all the interpretations of it but yours is fundamental for solo guitar.

I absolutely adore when artists, such as yourself, take songs such as this, which are popular for a reason, and turn them into something different. Not in a bad way, but take what's supposed to be the 'same' song, and turn it into a masterpiece all it's own. Bravo!

Try singing to it : Now and then I think of when we were together Like when you said you felt so happy you could die Told myself that you were right for me But felt so lonely in your company But that was love and it's an ache I still remember You can get addicted to a certain kind of sadness Like resignation to the end, always the end So when we found that we could not make sense Well you said that we would still be friends But I'll admit that I was glad that it was over But you didn't have to cut me off Make out like it never happened and that we were nothing And I don't even need your love But you treat me like a stranger and that feels so rough No you didn't have to stoop so low Have your friends collect your records and then change your number I guess that I don't need that though Now you're just somebody that I used to know Now you're just somebody that I used to know Now you're just somebody that I used to know [Kimbra:] Now and then I think of all the times you screwed me over But had me believing it was always something that I'd done But I don't wanna live that way Reading into every word you say You said that you could let it go And I wouldn't catch you hung up on somebody that you used to know [Gotye:] But you didn't have to cut me off Make out like it never happened and that we were nothing And I don't even need your love But you treat me like a stranger and that feels so rough No you didn't have to stoop so low Have your friends collect your records and then change your number I guess that I don't need that though Now you're just somebody that I used to know [x2] Somebody (I used to know) Somebody (Now you're just somebody that I used to know) (I used to know) (That I used to know) (I used to know) Somebody
