I got hooked on your videos and recipes, Refika. I'm not a veggie, but absolutely opened for a more plant based diet, for which your kitchen gives very inspirative and helpful recipes and ideas. And I also like your attitude to save as much food as you can, and not throw them away. And last, but not least, thanks for your sense of humor which makes the videos soooo amusing! Greetings from Hungary!

I love all your videos, but this one was extra special! I love all the beautiful quotes from the book and I love how you believe that love is transferred into foods from your hands. I feel the same way. And I'm so stoked you made a recipe for vegetarians. I have been a vegetarian for 40 years now. This recipe can be gluten-free, if you use a gluten-free flour blend, and gluten-free breadcrumbs, easily available, at least in the US. Thank you so much. I'm sending all my best wishes to you and your team and your family for a Happy New Year!!! 😊

I made these "eatballs" and hummus yesterday for a dinner party we had last night and they were a HUGE hit. Everyone loved them. I made 2 kinds. One kind was exactly your recipe and the second was similar but had the addition of mint and oregano and instead of haloumi I used feta. I can't say which one was more popular as there was nothing left! Love to you Refika, and to your talented and lovely crew!!

I made the meatballs today and have cooked one to taste while the rest chills in the fridge. The flavor is amazing! They remind me of a dish I had in Barcelona at a restaurant called Et tu Bola (maybe spelling it wrong). I didn't add the cheese because I have some family that try to avoid it. I also will have to wait on the basil hummus because for whatever reason I can't seem to get any fresh organic basil. Thank you so much for the videos, the recipes, techniques and sharing your Turkish culture with us!

I wanted to know, when you say 400g of canned chickpeas is it the total weight of the chickpea or is it a can of 400g ? because in your hummus recipe it also states 400g and we can see the can of 800g but when it's strained it's 400g.
