heads up to everyone though, never let an adapted parasite champion with 4-5 stars hit you. with MAX SILVER ARMOR, a champion ADAPTED longarm with 4 stars literally can still kill you in less than 3 seconds even with a broken heart bauble/totem of undying. Not sure with maxed out golem but still watch out for them

a tip for anybody in the lost cities, there are certain mobs that have particle effects on them that will have a random effect or ability. you want to watch out for those because if you can possibly get your anhk shield randomized and taken away and then the effects of anebreation will get you killed

a workaround for that would be to not use the ankh shield as a shild because they cant randomise baubles or armor only inventory and off-hand

2.9.2 was my first time in the lost cities and i was like what in the fuck even is this place. I cant go anywhere for half a second without getting swarmed by 20 mobs with 500 hp that deal hundreds of damage per hit.

Agreed. I do the same in the end. It's the most reliable way, to safe you from falling into the void. Using Warp, Recall or Bound Scroll from Waystones mod is not viable, since their use is interrupted by the void dmg ticks.

It might be worth it to use a shield with a one handed weapon, because you can put natural blocking 2 and that will go in rotation with shield of honor damage avoidance

You can use the shield with any Two-Handed I weapon, including the pike, if you have the Ankh Charm, Ankh Shield or Vitamins Bauble, giving immunity to Mining Fatigue. You will only loose out on 25% of the dmg, which is not too bad. Only the Greatsword with its Two-Handed II, loosing 50% of dmg and already having it's base dmg nerfed to quite some low values, wouldn't be viable. Personally I use the Pike, and depending on the situation put my shield on and off.

Put the ankh shield in the of hand to unlock another bauble slot and get the natural blocking effect

@@mifort6049 That is risky, because witches can scramble your inventory, including the off-hand slot. With the Ankh in off-hand, you will then loose all immunities provided by it, until you found the Ankh in your scrambled inventory, and put it back. That can easily get you killed. The bauble slots are safe from that effect, thus I usually keep my Ankh in one of those.

2.9.3 Confirm this if u want but there's a bug or problem with cross necklace and parry enchantment where this is the reason why u got insta kill so i suggest if u use cross necklace dont use parry enchant vice versa.

Nutz love the vid but in the last play through u also maxed out 12 buffs and then u went to the lost cities and got fear, viral and call of the hives(not sure about the name) and after that u got potion sickness. So u should use silver armor or only have 9 buffs.

Negative effects don't count towards potion sickness. I think I had 13 buffs there, can't remember.

@@SomeNutzGuy but over all silver armor is way better because call of the hives spawns crazy amount of mobs over u and viral will just make ur armor so weak that will break anyway, in conclusion if u want to fly it's better to have silver armor. And I don't think the negativity or positivity of the potion matters but I'll check.

Its an Endgame zone, dragon armor is a mid-game armor. Grind villager enchantments mostly/mimics for baubles/golem or silver armor/nunchuks/ankh charm-shield/potions+wine

I’ve never tried the potion of mending level 3 yet, but the level two one is extremely slow. Even though it’s pretty cheap to make I only see myself using it to repair multi shot bows that can’t have mending.

For normal overworld activities it's fine but since you're using iron skin, diamond skin and resistance with the Golem armour you'll likely reach the max armour cap.

Yes, if you wanted to use a 1 handed weapon. Even with the mining fatigue cancelled it still reduces the damage by 25% or 50% depending on two handed 1 or 2.

Great video! One thing I was thinking about though, wouldn't Subject P.E screw you with this many buffs? If it activates you'll go over the 12 buff limit and get potion sickness right? I'll tend to build an underground bunker of obsidian with an ender chest and a waystone inside.

in 2.9.3, the potions of mending are BAD. they need something like 20 minutes to repair a full dragon armor set left at half durability, and they can effectively repair something if there is NO action. A potion of mending while in a battle tower will do you nothing. They are however better than nothing, in the early game.

Not sure if anyone's said this yet, but the Ankh Shield gives resistance to mining fatigue, so you can use it in your offhand (this also clears up a bauble slot), even if you have a two-handed weapon such as the pike
