This might sound a little crazy...and I know you (Maarten) said you've never given away any of your 'gift knives'...but I'm thinking Nick would want you to do something equally incredible with at least some of the knives (maybe the duplicates in your collection). Like maybe donate some to a Kids Bushcraft group (I don't know if your laws allow minors to own knives), or maybe donate some to be raffled for donation of proceeds to a kids hospital, or some other kids charity...you know...something to "pass on the love".

The FS fighting knife is wicked. The metal has a beautiful ring when you tap it. I have 4 from the company and got into a pissy argument with Sheffield Jr because he shipped the first one to the wrong address but he made it good.

Nice vide and crcay gift. I suggest you take a look at a very capable EDC knife.The Grit. A Swedish knife from Andersson and Copra. A man and wife team that make really nice and made knives in top quality. The knife have AEB-L steel and HRC of around 62.
