Mark and I met up for a day of door knocking. We ended up getting permission to a Hayfield in an early area. A Revolutionary War soldier Lived and was Buried here. We found the remnants of where his house once stood. Someone lost a lot of old coins in this Hayfield. We found coins all day. Some Silver and some Big Coppers. It was a fun filled day of metal detecting.

I live very close to the American River in California. I've been metal detecting for nearly 4 years and have never found a silver coin, let alone a gold one. Still searching, but I gotta say, I'm getting sick of finding clad and junk jewelry. I want to find a gold ring or pendant so bad!
