Idk personally but, from a guess, they might be working on their future collabs, next support hero and tank hero, plans around how they're releasing content, new skin ideas, balancing the game and looking at hundreds of thousands of feedback they get... just y'know, running a game and business. The argument about "stealing from charity" would indeed be wrong, as one isn't stealing anything. The charity would need to have something to steal in the first place for it to be stealing. And the skin you get as a reward for essentially donating is just that, a reward. The charity is only there to obtain money/donations. The real argument is that they just aren't wanting to give money/donate to charity for the skin. We also don't know who they are or how they obtained it and assuming they cheated it Into the game isn't fair and only an assumption at this time. Even if you want to argue that it's stealing, then sure. But it isn't "stealing from the charity". It's stealing from blizzard.

I'm not sure if the non-Rose Gold pink mercy skin we can get will be at all different from the pink mercy we could get from previous chances, but the RG variant cant be from a previous drop

*This* is going to be what causes Blizzard to crack down on hackers. Calling it now, when they finally have a developer announcement on cheaters/hackers, this is going to be their primary reason for doing it. Not because of cheaters infesting every game mode... Not because of the literal black market for Overwatch cheats that include free trials... Not because players that’re banned are apparently unbanning themselves... But because someone hacked skins.... You are still buying ow2's currency and still giving Blizzard money in order to do it (The only skins they have shown are skins that were in overwatch bundles or the team skins like home and away skins. It's stupid, because IF Blizzard were to gift this skin as a gift, they would NEVER gift the rose gold, but the normal pink Mercy instead. That said, I do have the pink Mercy since it first came out back in ow1, but I am super excited for rose gold bundle 😍 Def buying that

not defending this player in any way but do we know if they for sure got it for free? for example, the busted OWL skin links still required you to pay tokens to purchase them. i just wonder if they still paid if they used that method or if the payment option wasn't even a thing yet since it hasn't yet been released. still a weird thing to do tho either way.
