⚡ 1. You need cameras at eye level for every entrance with a door (on the opposite wall, looking straight forward) 2. You need to check the footage from the previous nights, even if you didn't get a notification (for the last 2 weeks at least), and see if someone already tried and/or checked the door/RFID reader. RFID skimming is a real thing, and often you don't even know your RFID key/card was cloned. 3. You need to drastically limit the view people have from outside. Maybe by adding a second door between the lobby and the rest of the unit. 4. You could add a strong light, activated by sound and movements, aimed at the outside, and armed when nobody is in the studio.

iDK security cameras are expinseve. Also the more cameras they put up the more complicated the system gets. Which will make it harder to find clips they need.

@@tlp4164 They are working on changing from Nest footage to a better system. They are gona have better security and honestly, it's not surprising. If nothing else and I know it's a hassle and annoyance, but I would put upwards going ''bars'' on the windows as an extra security measure. We do it here in finland on stores etc just incase so even if someone broke a window, they could not get in. As for cameras, just get one that has a sensor light underneath it so when someone walks past said camera, it lights up the area. (For cameras that are inside only)

@@tlp4164 It's more about prevention, and make people think twice before doing something bad. It doesn't add complexity. Having cameras at eye level is the best way to catch a face and/or scare the ones that are not courageous enough to say : f.... it, I'm going in, by showing it to their face. The majority of criminals will take the easiest route...and move to their next target if they're slowed down too much or if they think it's too much of a pain to break in. Placing fake cameras is a possibility too

my theory: whoever put the stuff in the walls and vents etc. has more hidden stuff in the base somewhere. i think they have been keeping tabs on Matt and friends through their youtube videos and saw that they were figuring things out. So who ever it was trying to get in was trying to get the other stuff they hid so no one else could . that’s why they got so upset when they couldn’t get in because they know that they won’t be able to stop Matt and everyone else from solving the mystery. *suspenseful music* dun..dun....DUN!

It's most likely that it waa someone who either used to work at Hi5 or used that unit because so random person would try to use some fob they bought and expect it to work, and they must have thought to would work because they got mad. (Btw I havent seen the other vids yet I'm very behind)

I agree with woods i think is that maybe the person trying to get in is the previous owner of the unit. Kevin said they had the same key phobs. They would have been the ones to leave the safe and the 863 key which were both found in blue base. I’ve been with this series and the channel for a long while now. ⚠️ Recommendation: have Woods stand out there then have someone who is 6 feet out there, try to measure out where that guy’s height is based on that so you can be on the lookout during the day if someone seems suspicious. 🚨Since they couldn’t get there at night, the next option is to go during the day, which in turn makes it more dangerous for Hi5 employees. Another recommendation: EVERYONE knows the safe and other pieces to this series (car/safe) is inside Hi5-DONT take it home, but put it in the bank safety box (I say this because they can stake out Hi5 and follow someone home, thus putting them and their family at risk). If they know it’s not there (if they watch your vids) then they won’t attempt another break-in. Also, I would re-issue key fob codes since they seem to have hacked or are guessing the numbers. They may try again with a new fob number. You’ve been wanting to do a revamp for a new security system and NEST isn’t up to par. You definitely need higher quality cams. I’m just a subscriber, but I care about the safety of Hi5 staff. Willing to contribute to a new camera system. I am so sorry if this made you more scared but Please be safe all‼️

My Theory: That person who tried to break in probably wanted either two things: 1) The new stuff Matt is getting for Mega desk. The person probably saw all the new equipment Matt was getting and wanted to possibly take some of it. 2) The person is the owner of the new safe and owner of the Mountaineer car. The person could know what's in the new safe and needs to steal it back because there is probably something bad inside. Plus, since the person was there, he could have also stole back the key to the Mountaineer car because what if there is something bad in the car as well. The person can also be the owner of all the keys in the wall and know what each of them goes to. Think about it: The person only targeted Blue Base(that we know of) and not the other bases The person got aggressive and upset over the fact that they couldn't get it. What are things that set Blue Base apart from the different bases: Mega Desk, and the safes! (and you know... the nerf guns, and most of their offices are in there, but that's beside the point)

Okay can I just say......fingerprints mean absolutely nothing unless that person has had his/her/etc’s fingerprints put into the system previously? Like I have never had my fingerprints taken, so if I committed a crime and left them no one would be able to trace them back to me. That being said there is technology now that can actually match fingerprints taken from a crime scene to fingerprints from a photo of the person’s hand, so we are getting closer...but fingerprints don’t mean squat most the time

Buddy, there exists no reality where a fan or anyone friendly shows up at 10:30 PM, covered head to toe in clothes to make sure nobody can identify them, with latex gloves to prevent fingerprints. The keyfob was likely some sort of self proclaimed "Factory Reset" or "Universal" electric fob, which obviously and thankfully didn't work because those would be massive security risks if they did. It also may have been a keyfob for the last residents security system.

This is a long explanitation but i have a theory,Kevin said the key phob was there before you guys owned it.Then he said he erased every past other key phobs and put you guys key phobs in.So my theory is the key phob wouldn't have beeped if it wasn't correct,therefor it could have been the right key phob but since kevin wiped all the past key phobs they had no information of the old owners and conformations that it was someone who was allowed in there or worked there so they couldn't get in.But it was the correct one or else it wouldn't have beeped like it was accepted.I also think it could be connected to what the redit comment said about the chop shop and the owner of the car.They could have been trying to come for all the old keys,and safes that you guys found.

It’s not scripted. It’s gone way too far at this point for it to be scripted. Matt wouldn’t have went to the DMV about the car and they wouldn’t have purposely put the safe over the vent and make themselves hot. They also probably wouldn’t have gone through all of the trouble of putting the safe in the wall and then breaking the wall just to replace it again

Yes these key fobs are very common. My church has the exact same ones and I just got my own. Before I got mine activated I could beep the door but it would stay red. Every once and a while if I beep it, it beeps it at me like crazy
