I really appreciate that you put the raw files before the edits alongside the final images - gives an idea of the post processing. Much appreciated!

In recent days, the amount of AI used to manipulate photos has a tendency to reduce the value of any image taken or the photographer themselves and no longer becomes a representation of natural beauty. I appreciate your transparency with your work and the sincerity of your videos! You are genuine and it says so much about you. Keep it up!

Love the berries vs. grass image. For the mountains and clouds image, I actually think the zoomed in image shown at 16:25 is better than the wide view of the whole scene. In the wide view, there's no clear subject; in the cropped view, the peak becomes the subject.

I felt like that on Sunday morning. It was dark and rainy as I drove out and even when walking at the location it didn't look promising. But I gave it time and was rewarded with a beautiful sunrise. Even when the weather hasn't delivered a beautiful sunrise, it's been worth getting out. Thanks for another inspiring video!
@darrellcope1158Ай бұрын
Fantastic video! Regarding the inversion, there are different types. The type you experienced was due to subsidence (descending air from above) rather than a nocturnal inversion which requires the usual light winds. Subsidence inversions can create Gusty winds if the inversion is right at mountain top level which squeezes the wind between the inversion layer and the top of the mountain. Hope that helps.

Ohhhhh this video resonates so very, very much! We are just getting back from our vacation in Kananaskis Alberta, Canada, and it rained most of the time, and when I say most, I mean MosT. And it was cold and dreary.... until it wasn't! We were determined to make the best of a soggy situation, and when we emerged from our camp site, the low-lying clouds weaving their way through the mountains left me breathless and seeing potential! Living in Edmonton we don't get to frequent the beauty of the Rocky Mountains as much as we would like, and planning to be there at the right time is almost impossible. But I do have bucket list images (images I have seen plenty of other photogs capture but still want to be able to capture myself) and one of those is capturing the mountains emerging from moody stormy looking clouds. Now the images I did capture aren't epic but I am proud of them, because we took what some may have determined a fruitless situation and turned it into a wonderful experience. Seeing what you were dealing with gives me a sense of comradery (minus the hike).

An idea for a new video for you. You could show us the clothing you use and why. The two tone pants in this one make me think the darker portions may be water resistant at least and waterproof at best. Also it seems they have reinforced knees or may be padded. As a landscape shooter, clothing that keeps you comfortable means you will remain more creative with less distraction caused by weather and terrain. You don't have a clothing links section on your site that I can find. You might consider a links section that shows the advantages of the clothing you have chosen. Thanks!
