It's not a Monte Carlo because it only gives you back 10% on a kill. Monte Carlo is an order of magnitude better Not mad at the perk but most times you won't even notice it

I think that Eddy Current and Voltshot is a nice combo for Prismatic Warlocks while you're using Escape Artist, you're amplified ALL THE TIME just consuming your grenade AND you can have devour on Prismatic Warlocks... I have this roll after I completed a 50 wave ONSLAUGHT and I got Insane luck.

If you don’t care about reload speed, which I know is meta for PVE but If you leave the gun at its base 18 round mag, you can burn through the whole magazine before voltshot goes out, meaning you can pair with high impacts and voltshot for some double damaging things or even maybe pugilist for a melee build.

I think of it as revision zero. The roll i currently have ( not crafted or anything ) almost max range, high impact reserves & volt shot which is pretty damn good in pve & pvp surprising. I gotten a few double and triple downs in crucible because of volt shot!

Perpetual motion gives the same reload (71) with 2 stacks as Enlightened at 5x and Eddy at base. So easier to proc technically. 1sec vs 1.5 for eddy plus no sprinting and simply moving at 2m/ps vs hitting shots.

Fully agree with the pvp verdict. Grinded 5 redborders to craft enhanced high groundb but...... it just felt bad, almost like its not shooting properly. Ended up swapping for a masterworked relentless with headseeker and slice and relentless felt so smooth and easy to use, also shredded in trials. Really disappointed with corrassion as timewornwayfare is soooo good.

i use chambered compensator, steady rounds, high impact, focused fury and stability masterwork. in pvp it slaps the stability bump fixes the recoil that cross was talking about or at least lowered the jump in the gun. also counter balance for mod.

Goes hard in both with the base stats and gets great perks on top of a fire origin trait and if you want something more pvp focused you also have claws of the wolf. I definitely perfer crafted weapons over just enhanced random rolled weapons but some of these random drops are nutty if you give them a chance

I've been loving Corrasion. I have a high impact/focus fury that I've been using in PVP and it's carrying me hard. If those other two are better though, I need to get my hands on one. I've never seen a two burst before (besides Graviton) because I don't really raid, don't really play trials, and I don't usually watch reviews for weapons until after I've used them.

People forget that if you shoot your volt shot bullet and instantly reload your volt shot perk comes back and you can use it again instantly even if you didn’t kill a add but this has to be done before timer

Chances are Corrasion is built right off the code of Disparity, given it's the gun that it's modelled after. That'd probably be why it behaves and feels like a 3 round burst.

If you're planning on paring a strand "sidearm" with the pulse, The Call rolls with demo/adrenaline as well. This way you aren't running double primary and would achieve the same effects (if not better due to demo on a special)

I'd say the weird recoil messes with what pulses usually have over other weapons and thats range. Im often times feeling my second shot miss from a smaller aim cone leading to really bad ttk. I feel like its got scout rifle recoil without the recoil resetting to base. I feel like it'd be better with tap the trigger, opening shot, or zen moment. Just more of the standard to help.

Stats barely change anything outside of extreme differences. Stability and reload are the two most important stats for most weapons outside of ballistic weapons.

high impact + frenzy is best for end game pve, its free double dmg perk and 100 handling+reload for just shooting it, and its on the already highest dmg non exotic primary archetype, sure voltshot is fun for messing around in strikes ect. but theres already way better voltshot guns if you want to build into that

A combo I want to try is high impact focused fury. The name corrosion made me feel like this was the intended roll. For pvp this will proc easily surely. I noticed they like to buff perks they are pushing so ima go enlightened action volt shot for pve. Focused on RL & H stats

The enhanced version* Eddy current doesnt automatically proc when going amplified if you have the enhanced version; you need to sprint. The regular version works fine so I’d say don’t enhance it yet, unless it’s been fixed already

Agreed, but it's the 7 seconds that it procs for that makes it good. If it was like incandescent it would just jolt probably once on a kill, which would probably do less damage then it's doing now. But these are my thoughts.

I think voltshot is really good in endgame but only in smgs and in this pulse rifle since you have to invest in reload speed as much as you can. Cant really compare it with incandecent since it hits way harder and stuns overloads etc.
