You really get the "deep think" with my fellow Canadian Michael Dudley! This is structured like a university lecture, but that is not a criticism. Dudley tears apart the "metaphysical" structure of Stratfordians with a surgical precision. I love his assertion that it is the orthodox view that is actually the elitist one. No "Horatio Alger" could find a way to become a blessed child of "Nature's God"....very like the Calvinist concept of "the elect"; whereas with Oxford's biography we can see the necessary tools he could employ to achieve his greatness...a great argument for the return to the values of a liberal education!
