I like how level headed and honest Ali Raza is and he's right the concept of "no" is so important. Often times we always say "yes" due to fear of not getting anything better but we have to take risks in life. Ali seems like he likes to take risks but he seems to take these risks after thoughtfully and carefully understanding the pros and cons of taking that risk. Bravo Ali...keep doing what your'e doing!

Can't help drawing parallels between Ali and Khushhal since they're such fast friends. Ali is focused for sure and also dedicated to his craft as I got to know during his interview with Maliha Rehman where he revealed the kind of rigorous exercises that he had to indulge in during the shoot of Duniyapur. I was very impressed. As for Khushhal, he has a very spontaneous energy surrounding him and is not very conscious about doing leads and 8 pm slots or the 'quality of his co-stars'. He is so absorbed in doing his own part and is so indifferent about the typical trappings of stardom. Ali, on the other hand, seems to be too affected by the aforementioned aspect that kind of borders on a limited mindset. Also Ali needs a little tutoring on what to say when....there were some weird details revealed during the interview that kind of left a bad taste in the mouth.

I'm so sorry to say, but he needs media training. It wasn't about the answers he was giving but the way he was saying it. He needs to work on the way he develops his answers and makes them less boring. Also, he needs to bring in a bit of modesty. He is a better actor than Hamza sohail but hamza has great media training and knows exactly how much to speak.

First saw him in Muhabbat Ghumshada Meri and knew he could have the potential to be a lead. I'm so glad he finally got a role as the only male lead in Iqtidar, he was great in Noor Jehan but he didn't get too much screen time as there were too many main characters. I also went back to watch some of his older roles such as Gunnah and Bhool Jaa Ay Dil.

It's great that he has drawn a boundary and he knows what he wants and it's absolutely brilliant. I think Nameer came from a painful experience living alone isolated in Monteal( limited by not speaking French), and I know how arrogant those Canadian French are !, so he was able to relate all he has endured to come into this field, whereas Ali has a seemingly easier home life hasn’t worked abroad, and already has the confidence from being a model, so one cannot compare the two, as both come from different life experiences, and Ali is perhaps more self assured!
