JO BICHAR GAYE: This is award winning drama🏆🏆🏆every episode is better than previous one, cried with each character 😭, the performances has touched my soul, The storyline is so gripping, full of unexpected surprises. Wahaj Ali’s performance as RUMI is always the top notch. have not seen such brilliant acting in a long time . His dialogue delivery , expressive eyes and neck turns😍😍😍No wonder why people love to see him perform. Maya AlI as SONIA…She really captured the viewers’ attention by her realistic act. The plot keeps viewers on edge, but more so because we look forward to every scene that includes these two. likewise brilliant performances by Nadia Jameel and Talha Chahor brought tears to our eyes. Director deserves applause as he has managed to extract such brilliant performances from each actor and we can’t wait to see what the next episodes hold in the journey of these characters.

Tough to choose between the scenes of Mastaan and Harshali vs Zarghuna and Gulmina. We saw the palpable fear in Zarghuna's eyes that Gulmina could have killed Hikmat and it wasn't just concern for Gulmina but definitely also fostered by love for Hikmat. It was so nice to see the soft side of her when she puts Gulmina to sleep. And can I say that Mastaan and Harshali's scenes are some of the most tragic yet intimate scenes that have been so tastefully shot. Totally agreed with the fact that it this kind of intimacy was very essential to the scene and the plot overall, establishing that the sacrifices the couple are making for each other are not just because of a commitment but real love. The reveal that Hilmand has been hating Haji Marjan for only about a year was not very surprising. He could have easily eavesdropped on a conversation with Guru Baksh.

Jo bichar gaye- i think it's beautiful that a platonic relationship between a man and a woman is as central to the storyline as is romantic feelings for someone else in this drama. The intricacy and complexity of human feelings was portrayed beautifully by the three leads. Although it's open for interpretation, but I feel roomi loves Soniya, soniya has platonic love and care for him and he knows she doesn't have romantic feelings towards him, but both don't stop caring for each other. With Farrukh I think soniya has romantic feelings for him, but in the wartime conflicts she is definitely shown as someone who advocates peace and civility and is miffed initially because she feels army is being as ruthless as militants and it's a two way conflict now.. she is torn between her unconfessed love for Farrukh and the feeling that is he better in any way than others? Farrukh is duty bound human being.. Par excellence performances, writing, direction, cinematography, score.. Ps: for me this episode belongs to Nadia Jameel ❣️ what a comeback.. power on... Also as an Indian, i don't see any propoganda atall ..

I was liking sinf-e-ahan alot, but now its getting on my nerves. There’s too much glorification of the army. Major Samia’s mother in law treating her right just because she’s in the army? That just didn’t sit right with me. Her mother in law literally said something which implied that she can brag that in her khaandaan k dekho meri bahu army se hai. I now understand why army walay look down at us civilians. This drama is made just to boost their ego. Matlab itna bhi kiya yaar. Aarzo beating up those guys, Pariwash taking a stand for her father, wo sab theek hai, lekin I wish other dramas could also show such powerful female leads. They’re showing that as Arzoo & Pariwash have joined army, now they can head on any challenge in their life. There’re literally so many strong woman out there, who aren’t studying in PMA, yet they’re the epitome of strength. They are all sinf e ahan too. Why can’t other dramas too show female powerful characters?

Thank you Hassan for adressing cosmeticb procedure!! It has been a while I am wondering why you guys never talk about the impact on viewers of all these actors going through procedures… You talk about the behaviors of characters which is great also but these procedures also send a message to all viewers - by not talking about it, you silently accept and encourage them… which is wrong. People are seeing that physical perfection is a must, that diversity is still not worth the screens, that ageing is bad etc… all heros are slim fit, perfect skin and maked-up… this is not reality. Born and raised abroad I am always surprised how easy and common it is to go through procedures in Pakistan. Each time I go there people advise me to have botox injections on my face, that it is simple and cheap - that would make me look younger etc.., well no!! I am happy ageing slowly and surely and adapt myself with what suits me… I usually not mention religion but your body is like a rental and you have to give it back the way it has been given to you… we are not allowed to make such changes on what Allah has created. Overall, I feel that there is fear of being vocal on what is a bigger issue in pakistan… Look at some Hollywood aged actors… they are mind-blowing by their performance and expressions etc… they have the money and they don’t get the procedures… Static dolls are for showcases…

Jo Bichar Gaye: is devastatingly beautiful and educational. Since I told my mom about the drama, we've watched it together- we started a bit late so we got to binge the first 6 episodes and now it's so hard to wait for what comes next week! This episode was brilliant as well, and while all characters were there, it seemed to be more from Rumi's perspective- a lot of it felt like he was on the outside looking in after everything he's been through, and it has affected him so much that he was there but not there even when he's inside and interacting with Sonia and his uncle. Dil-e-Momin: not watching this drama anymore but totally agree with Aamna! Momin did not have to be shirtless there. Other than that, till now I was hoping for a Momin-Ashi endgame but with how Momin keeps behaving despite everything I don't want him to end up with either of them because he lost any attraction as a character ^^;; either he's lying about not being attracted to Maya, or he's simply leading her on, unintentionally or not, by not putting his foot down. He has to reject her firmly, which can be done without being mean. He had many chances to do that and he has failed to do so consistently. From what I gathered from Aamna's review, he's still doing the same thing xD Sinf-e-Ahan: I felt vindicated by Aamna's review! I mean, they really didn't have to show everyone's salute test. Also, I am kinda done with PMA glorification in every episode x) it kinda gets too in your face at times. Moreover, if they're going to keep pushing the narrative that there's "No unfairness in PMA" they should at least make it believable xD Arzu and Rabia's salutes weren't that good, especially compared to Mahjabeen's. This little lapse could have been covered up if they'd skipped over the rest of their tests. Other than that it was a great episode, loved seeing the girls changed after PMA and tackling major issues back home with newfound confidence and strength! Also, about the next episode preview, when Nathmy suggests Rabia is so hurt because maybe she still loves that person, I'm thinking rather than referring to the ex-fiance, she might have been talking about Mahjabeen because Rabia's response was something like 'jab dost dushman banti hei us se berehem koi nahi hota'? Or maybe I'm reading too much into it and they purposefully compiled the preview scenes like that ^^ Sang-e-Mah: Absolutely loving this drama! For the first time I felt Sabz Ali gets what he deserves XD I was sad to see Gulmina and Hikmat break up because they were cute together and I was rooting for them. Zarghona going from rage to panic when she thought Gulmina had killed Hikmat was entertaining and much needed comic relief, but also showed a glimpse of the Zarghona that hides under her carefully crafted image of cold indifference. The tender moment when she comes to Gulmina was so touching, and it was a novelty seeing her be so soft, even if it was out of a sense of guilt. Finally got more clarification what happened to Mastan. Their story is also so heartwarmingly tragic. Loved the tender moment between him and his fiance. I was not expecting Hilmand having a loving relashimship with Haji not just in childhood, but even up until recently. I wonder how he came to know of Haji's involvement in his father's murder- if he even did it. Could it have been yet again because of something Sabz Ali said? Even his other 'friend,' the one who lied to him about Hikmat being in love with Gulmina, doesn't seem to have his best interests. Either that, or he's just not very bright x) Shehrezaat's story was heartbreaking but it was kinda therapeutic seeing her finally get some sort of affection from a mother-figure, someone who felt pain on her behalf :,) It also explained why she was so focused on getting her story at first, even at the cost of angering Haji and the villagers. That's all! Enjoy your coming trips, Hassan and Aamna :) Edit: Sang-e-Mah

JBG: still not able to watch it. Kabhi stable mind k sath dekhoon gi. QMBK: it's not just this drama, it's all those drama that portray "happily ever after" in last two episodes. On the contrary, a survivor goes through severe mental trauma even after the tragedy/ordeal is over. Survivors take a long time to reach their happily ever after. So unrealistic to imagine that all gets well so soon. D-e-Momin: exactly! When a person is haya-daar, they aren't comfortable being shirtless in front of anyone. And why does he get in the car with a girl who did the worst to him?

Please keep watching Ishq e Laa - I agree some of it is off, but have hopes that it will turn around/pick up! also unrelated to the reviews couldn't stop laughing thanks to Hassan - his take on Staff had me laughing out loud! Thanks for a great episode as always! Agree with Aamna I skipped some of the saluting parts on Sinf e Ahan too - in the effort to give each lead screentime, they are dragging some of the scenes a bit, interesting observation about the confidence boost each of the girls had about addressing their fears, and that Yumna is my fave character too... I am hoping Mere Humsafar improves now that Farhan has entered the scene but more torturing post inevitable marriage is gonna be a bore - all the support characters are too loud, which is a shame as I really like those actors from other shows! Lastly Jo Bichhar Gaye - totally in a league of its own, really hope more people will watch it, Maya & Wahaj are amazing despite the bad wig (with the perfect side parting!) it looks like it could have streamed on an OTT platform in terms of production levels!

Yes, in PMA, the cadets have to march always. The person who's judging the salute is at the post of Adjutant. There are 4 Adjutants in PMA simultaneously. And in each term, one of them is incharge of overlooking the parades etc. And I don't they were actually judging the uniform and salutes of particular in drama. They were just going according to the script. 🧐 PMA will not have anything wrong. Army will have things that are wrong. PMA is very harsh for male cadets. It is all-good for female cadets

Can you please shed light in your next review on what is the conflict in SeA? Like what should we tune in for every week? 6 girls doing the same thing 6 times? It was the perfect platform for Nadeem Baig to showcase his direction skills. If they want to show 6 letters then edit in a way that different girls letters intertwine with each other. Like Shaista and Pariweshs letters are read together and it is shown how their backgrounds are similar despite being from different provinces. Similarly for salute scenes show it in a way that we start with one and end it with the other. It is so bland in direction, editing, performance..every department

Sinf e Ahan: I do enjoy the development of the characters and how they're trained, but I CAN'T STAND the constant propaganda, almost, of the army and PMA. Like every single episode they just have to ride the army and talk about how great it is and it high key ruins the drama. It's really off-putting when we're constantly being told the army is fair, no favoritism, and that it empowers women like??? why did they have to go to the army for that. Pariwesh did not have to praise PMA like we get it, we can see that she's more confident now. Also it kinda discredits the girls' hardworkk everytime they're like 'uwu the army is perfect it made us better', Watching Sinf e Ahan is like having one of their staff yelling 'THE ARMY IS THE BEST THING TO HAPPEN TO ANYONE EVER' into a megaphone two millimeters away from your ears for 40 minutes straight. It's soooooo annoying. Also I'm getting tired of watching Mahjabeen getting violated like it's getting annoying now. They didn't even torture sidra, who was LITERALLY plucking flowers for her room, as much as they did Mahjabeen. Like they didn't show us why she's always being taunted like gyal likes makeup and they will NOT let that go they're milking it like their lives depend on it. Also the whole shaming her for her interest in hair and makeup is literally pick me behavior I don't stan. This comment has strayed so far from where it began I actually dk why I just poured my entire heart and soul into this comment but it's ok it's literally the internet worse things have happened.

@@shanazhussain718 I'm not 100% sure what your point is or what you mean by that, so I'll just reply based on what I think it means. The drama doesn't really do a very good job at anything. Like the discipline is obviously present and the army is supposed to be harsh, almost rude, to the cadets to desensitize them BUT it has nothing to do with Major Samia constantly battering Mahjabeen. It's really not discipline anymore it's more like the ONLY thing Mahjabeen's character has and they're stretching it out wayyy too much. Like we don't see Major Samia taunting the other cadets like that ever. I'm just tryna say they've stretched out this make up issue for far too long.

I don’t think they have a courage to discuss marital rape openly in a drama in Pakistani society. Also I don’t believe that in Pakistan legal system any clause covers this, where in male dominant society a wedded woman can’t say no to her husband anyway and definitely men would bring religion into this. Let’s see if this subject even touched upon in the court scene.

I agree with Amna 💯. I don't like Azka's character in Ishq e Laa. In my opinion, she is a selfish, self centered and mean girl. She doesn't have any kind of remorse that Shanaya died because she requested her to help them. She wanted to become a doctor and she is okay with getting her five years fees from a stranger without knowing his intentions. Is this Tawakul ? No, certainly not. They are trying to show her naive but failed. She is not innocent 😏 She knew Abid and his intentions very well even then she opened the door for her when she was alone at home to get groceries for the whole month and told him to send his mother to plan their wedding. In short, drama Ishq e Laa is Khoda pahaar nikla chohaa.

On the cosmetic 'enhancements' note, it is a good idea to start young, especially in an industry where youth n looks are a big asset. Reccomendation is to find a dermatologist with a light hand. No more than 30 to 40 units of Botox between the brows n crows feet area every 6 to 9 months. Jennifer Aniston is a excellent example of starting young n doing minimal/necessary fillers n botox over a long period of time. So there are no drastic changes all of a sudden or too full a face or a complete lack of mobility.
