I watched this on PPV live as it happened back in 2004. With the exception of JBL vs Eddie, the whole show was genuinely one of the worst I've ever seen.

2004 was a terrible year for WWE. Other than WrestleMania XX, I can barely remember anything good. Taboo Tuesday had 3500 people in the audience. I've been to ROH shows with more than that. This was the year Hardcore Holly got 2 WWE Title shots. That should tell you everything. Just a year earlier they had maybe the greatest WM of all time in front of 55k people

This was a really bad period for WWE terrible storylines very few good characters, it all went downhill once wcw ended they couldn't even book the invasion angle it turned into McMahon vs McMahon the easiest storyline ever became a fizzer within a month. Triple H taking over was the best thing that happened

Sad to say there was no good reason for this match at least if this happened in Feb of 05 Bruce could say, "Vince was on some really good pain killers and thought this was the bomb." Instead all you can say about this was...well it was 2004 and those who remember that time will go yeah I guess Austin, Rock, Goldberg, Lesnar, Nash, Stiener, And everyone else that were gone post Manina 20 just hurt that bad huh.
