I like that you added the song info on the side. For me it felt like the first half of the year started off strong but lately I’ve been feeling slumpy. I think it’s because I’ve been reading too many 500+ page books lol. The Plot reminds me of Yellowface, I’m kind of intrigued by it.

I recently read a book so bad I couldn't understand how it even got published. The author put every tragedy you could imagine in the book. It was ridiculous, like where was the editor?!

I felt the same way. It’s pretty much the same story, but I enjoyed The Plot much more.

Your explanation of your feelings surrounding Reel are exactly what I felt reading the book. The blueprint was there, I just didn't feel fully connected to the characters.
