You don't have to place two fingers on the same string, it's just an easier way to move from one chord to another - Instead of moving your whole hand into a new shape you can just add a finger.

I love your ukele tutorials. I have played piano for years and years. I also own and play a range of recorders as well I own an alto a sapranino as well as a classical, took violin 1 year in high school ages ago so I don't think that counts my point being I love love music and once determined I can pick it up fairly quickly. 5 years ago while on vacation on Hawaii I bought this beautiful handmade ukele as a souvenir. I didnt know anything about ukele's. Now that I have done a bit of research I know a little bit. I'm sure I over paid for it. I don't even want to admit what I paid. I was a tourist sucker now that I have look3d at different name brands. It doesn't have a name brand at all. It is all hand done so I hope it's still a good one.???? Idk I promised when I bought it. I would teach myself to play. It only took 5 years ha but I have been hard at it almost a month now and can play quite a few tunes just more slowly as I get used to changing chords more quickly than I do now. BUT I Just wanted to tell you how much I enjoy learning from you. your funny as well as very talented and patient. I feel like my tutor is Simon Pegg. who knew Simon Pegg was such a great ukele teacher lol. m. not to shabby ;-). Thx for what you do for us newbies. I'm loving it. it is hard for me to put it down.
@TheUkuleleTeacher8 жыл бұрын
+Julie Foggin That's so crazy you would say that - I was just talking to someone about 2 days ago that people ALWAYS tell me I look/sound like Simon Pegg! Luckily I'm a fan so I don't mind at all :) Good luck with your uke adventure and keep on strumming!
