June 10, 2024…I am watching this! I’ve just recently found you! You make me smile, laugh and sometimes a tear leaks out❤️ I lost my my husband of 52 + 4 years of marriage two years ago 😢 I have all our wedding cards from 1970, piles of cards from the day our two daughters were born. Plus 58 years worth of beautiful cards of all kinds, This is such a fantastic idea! You would think I have all the time in the world to do these projects 😂 Someday….Peace to you, keep these videos coming! Love, from the USA 🇺🇸

Here's my thought about sweet Norma. As soon as Norma hears Kate speaking, she runs pell mell straight to the best wooden table in the world for Kate and me time. Her loud purring is simply her way of saying, "Oh really, tell me more." Norma would be very surprised to know that thousands of us are crowded around the table watching and learning!

I’m sitting here July 2024….having a watch old Kate videos day as I embroider…..and having a great big chuckle about how your videos used to be filmed and how they now are so well put together. Of course a lot of that has to do with Anna and her expertise. But it’s so entertaining to watch the progression and the cat shenanigans and the just plain awesome heart and soul throughout! Having a blast watching from Montana where the temps are in the nineties! Me and Lily the cat sitting face first in front of the fan. Love and hugs. 🤗

I bought a plastic expandable file with 12 sections. I used 1 file section for two months. Jan and February, March and April to have used 6 sections. I keep birthday, holiday cards and special occasions in these 6 sections. In the other sections I have sent/received cards. I use the front of the card to use as postcards to send to people or give them to children's hospital or nursing homes for the same reason. Unlike you, I don't have cats any longer but I do have a large dog. Love your cats. I find reuses for cards like gift cards for presents. These beautiful scenes can be given to kindergarteners through the 3rd or 4th grade for projects. Kids love projects. To strengthen a cut like that, duct tape is good. Love me some duct tape.

Hi Kate! Even though this video is 3 yrs old., I absolutely adore this idea! I am a card keeper. My mother as well, so therefore, I have all my cards from 1- current, 60+! I also have my children and my hubby for all of our years together, 42 yrs, I also was a teacher, so any cards and notes from those years are in my collection! It would be fun to make the card holders for each of those events! I have so many wonderful projects going, however, what's one more! Kate, I like the idea of string over rubber bands, as rubber bands get brittle and break over time. I am still binge watching your channel and love every one!

I feel so sad about all the beautiful cards that I discarded over the years because it seemed silly to take up valuable drawer acreage. This is the solution! It will look beautiful on my bookcase; now I have to decide where it will live....poor Steven King...even the cards would be scared to live in his neighborhood. :-)

In Bluebirds as a kid the troop leader had us wrap coffee cans with yarn. Both ends are removed. We then put polystyrene foam in the ends and decorated it. You then just slip the spine of the card behind a strand of yarn. So it accordion s around the can. You could use fat plastic pipe or any large càn you have on hand depending on the size of the cards. Your idea is awesome though. Never thought of it.
