Lots of critics say Margot Robbies Sharon Tate was underused and sort of unnecessary. They just didn’t get it and this scene was a great example of why she was important. She was just so young happy and filled with the joy of life. This was in contrast to Rick who was down and feeling washed up. The whole feel of this scene as she danced through the Playboy Club was just one of those great joyous movie scenes that Tarantino loves to do!

For anyone that does enough reading and just knows pop culture would know full well that her purpose in the story was completely warranted as she was the driving force leading to the climax of the film and representative of the lingering optimism, carefree, and hippy culture that came to a very horrific crash on the night of her murders.

I vaguely remember this song, from back then. Not my type of song - but in this scene, it's GREAT! How does Tarantino do this, time after time? Songs I would never listen to twice suddenly become part of my play list! And McQueen - he really wanted to star in Grand Prix, or have his movie come out first. He was pissed at James Garner, and that movie. He lived right above Garner, and was caught peeing down on Jim's balcony! And wow, this guy does a great impression of McQueen.
